Seiring dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin pesat, penggunaan energi listrik terus meningkat baik untuk keperluan rumah tangga maupun industri. Pada bidang industri energi listrik paling banyak dimanfaatkan untuk mengoperasikan motor-motor listrik guna menunjang kegiatan produksi. Namun dalam pengoperasian tersebut masih menggunakan cara konvensional atau manual. Sirius Motor Management and Control Device (SIMOCODE) adalah sistem yang mampu menggantikan pengoperasian motor secara konvensional atau manual menjadi sistem digital, mulai dari sistem fungsi, kontrol dan proteksi motor pun sudah tertanam. SIMCODE pun mampu mengoperasian motor starting bintang delta secara manual dengan yang otomatis. SIMOCODE menggunakan sistem parameterisasi untuk menentukan cara kerja sistemnya sehingga pengguna hanya perlu menentukan nilai-nilai yang akan diisikan pada software SIMOCODE ES sehingga memudahkan pengguna dalam pembuatan system. Selain itu sistem ini bersifat adaptif terhadap berbagai jenis motor 3 fasa karena pada dasarnya sistem ini hanya mengatur tegangan yang masuk pada motor dan kontaktor sebagai pengatur hubungan antara terminal yang mengubah dari rangkaian hubung bintang ke hubung delta.

Along with the development of increasingly rapid science and technology, the use of electricity continues to increase both for household and industrial use. In the industrial sector, electricity is most widely used to operate electric motors to support production activities. But in the operation it still uses conventional or manual methods. Sirius Motor Management and Control Device (SIMOCODE) is a system that is able to replace conventional or manual motor operation into a digital system, starting from the system functions, motor control and protection already embedded. SIMOCODE is also able to replace the star-delta motor starter manually with the automatic one. SIMOCODE uses a parameterization system to determine how the system works so that users only need to determine the values that will be loaded in the SIMOCODE ES software so that users can easily create the system. In addition, this system is adaptive for various types of 3 phase motors because basically this system only regulates the voltage entering the motor and contactor as a regulator of the relationship between the terminals that change from the star connection circuit to the delta connection.
