Analisis Vegetasi Penyusun Hutan Alam Bukit Plawangan Pada Tingkatan Tiang Dan Pohon

Bukit Plawangan terletak di areal Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi. Hutan alam tersebut mengalami dampak erupsi secara periodik. Pasca erupsi 2010 belum ada informasi mengenai penyusun tegakan bukit Plawangan. Penelitian dilakukan di Bukit Plawangan, Resort Pakem Turi, Taman Nasional Gunung, Merapi Pada bulan Juni 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahi komposisi penyusun tegakan di bukit Plawangan pada tingkat tiang dan pohon. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan metode survey dan membuat petak ukur 20 x 20 m, mengunakan pola transek. Sebanyak 10 plot dibuat pada ketingian 900-1100 mdpl, dan 10 plot lainya pada ketingian 1100-1300. Hasil pengamatan menunjukan terdapat 26 jenis pohon di Bukit Plawangan. Jumlah jenis pada ketinggian 900-1100 (21 jenis) lebih banyak dibanding pada ketinggian 1100-1300 mdpl (15 jenis). Pada kedua level ketinggian didominasi oleh jenis Kina dan Puspa baik untuk tingkat tiang dan pohon.

Plawangan Hill located in the Merapi National Park. The natural forest has periodicly impacted by the eruption. Since the big eruption on 2010, there is no information about the stand composition of the Bukit Plawangan. This research was conducted on July 2019 at Plawangan Hill, part of Merapi Nasional Park. This research aims to identify the stand vegetation composition in the pole and tree level. The measurement was conducted by the survey method with 20 x 20 m square plots using the transect pattern. A total of 10 plots were established at 900-1100 m asl, and 10 other plots were at 1100-1300 m asl. The result shows that there are 26 species of trees in the Bukit Plawangan. The species number at 900-1100 m asl (21 types) is more than the plots at 1100-1300 m asl (15 types). Both altitude levels are dominated by quinine and Puspa, for pole as well as tree level.
