Pengaruh Tata Kelola Pemerintah Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Negara Berpendapatan Menengah Kebawah Asia

Tata kelola pemerintah yang baik akan mengantarkan suatu negara terhadap kesejahteraan. Penelitian ini menganalisis suatu pengaruh tata kelola pemerintah terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara berpenghasilan menengah ke bawah di Asia dengan sampel negara 12 negara pada tahun 2002 hingga 2017. Variabel tata kelola pemerintah diwakilkan oleh 6 indikator yang bersumber dari World Bank, diantaranya pengendalian korupsi, efektivitas pemerintah, stabilitas politik, kualitas peraturan, aturan hukum, serta suara dan akuntabilitas. Data yang digunakan adalah data panel dengan model Fixed Effects. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen signifikan secara keseluruhan terhadap variabel dependen, namun secara parsial hanya ada tiga variabel yang berpengaruh, yaitu variabel perdagangan, investasi bruto, serta suara dan akuntabilitas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi di negara berpendapatan menengah kebawah Asia tidak seluruhnya dipengaruhi oleh tata kelola pemerintah.

Good governance will lead a country to prosperity. This study analyzes an influence of governance on economic growth in low middle income countries in Asia with a sample of 12 countries in 2002 to 2017. The variables of governance are represented by six indicators sourced from the World Bank, including control of corruption, government effectiveness, political stability, quality of regulations, rule of law, and voice and accountability. The data used is panel data with fixed effects model. The results of the study indicate that the overall independent variables are significant towards the dependent variabel, but partially there are only three variables that influence, there are trade, gross investment, and voice and accountability. It can be concluded that economic growth in low middle income countries in Asia is not entirely influenced by governance.
