Toksisitas Tepung Daun Piper sarmentosum dan Piper aduncum terhadap Sitophilus oryzae

Kumbang bubuk beras (Sitophilus oryzae) merupakan hama utama beras dalam masa penyimpanan. Daun karuk (Piper sarmentosum) dan sirih hutan (Piper aduncum) memiliki potensi sebagai insektisida nabati untuk mengendalikan Sitophilus oryzae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui toksisitas tepung daun P. sarmentosum dan P. aduncum terhadap S. oryzae dengan mengunakan metode fumigasi. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu, kontrol; 0,4 gr/20 gr beras ; 0,8 gr/20 gr beras; 1,6 gr/20 gr beras dan 3,2 gr/20 gr beras dan masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali. Hasil pengujian toksisitas menunjukkan bahwa tepung daun P. sarmentosum bersifat toksik terhadap S. oryzae, konsentrasi tepung daun yang efektif untuk mengendalikan S. oryzae yaitu 1,6 gr/20 gr beras, dengan LT50 hari 4,499 dan nilai LC50 2,428%. Pada pengujian menunjukkan bahwa tepung daun P. aduncum bersifat toksik terhadap S. oryzae dengan konsentrasi tepung daun yang efektif untuk mengendalikan S. oryzae yaitu 1,6 gr/20 gr beras dengan LT50 4,189 hari dan nilai LC50 4,723%. Tingkat kerusakan beras setelah pengaplikasian tepung daun lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kontrol.

Rice weefil (Sitophilus oryzae) is a dominant pest in the storing period of rice. Karuk leaves (Piper Sarmentosum) and spiked papper (Piper aduncum) are potential as the insecticide to control Sitophilus oryzae. This research aims to understand the toxicity of P. sarmentosum and P. aduncun leaf flour to S. oryzae with the fumigation method. Treatments is applied with control ; 0,4 gr/20 gr rice; 0,8 gr/20 gr rice; 1,6 gr/20 gr rice and 3,2 gr/20 gr rice, each treatment are replicated four time. The results shows that Piper sarmentosum leaf flour is toxic to S. oryzae, effctiveness concentration to control S. oryzae of 1,6 gr/20 gr rice, with LT50 4,499 days and LC50 2,428%. The result shows that P. aduncum leaf flour is toxic to S. oryzae with effetiveness concentration to control S. oryzae of 1,6 gr/20 gr of rice with LT50 4,189 days and the value of LC50 4,723%. After the application of leaf flour, the damage level of the rice is lower than the control.
