PERENCANAAN AGREGAT PRODUKSI GULA DI PG PESANTREN BARU PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA X, KEDIRI, JAWA TIMUR

PT Perkebunan Nusantara X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan hasil pertanian yang terdiri dari industri gula dan tembakau. PG Pesantren Baru merupakan salah satu anak perusahaan dari PTPN X yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Kediri yang berfokus pada produksi gula. Permintaan produksi gula setiap bulannya berbeda-beda dan tidak menentu sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan atau forecasting produksi agar produksinya sesuai dengan permintaan dan mencegah terjadinya kekurangan produk. Perencanaan agregat merupakan jantung dari perencanaan jangka menengah yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu rencana produksi secara menyeluruh yang fisibel dan optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode tabel dan grafik karena mudah untuk dimengerti dan digunakan, strategi yang digunakan yaitu chase strategy dan level strategy yang kemudian dipilih strategi dengan total biaya paling minimum. Langkah yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu melakukan observasi dilanjutkan dengan pengumpulan tinjauan pustaka serta pengumpulan data dari PTPN X PG Pesantren Baru Kediri. Selanjutnya melakukan peramalan permintaan selama 6 bulan ke depan dengan metode yang sesuai kemudian diverifikasi dan melakukan perencanaan agregat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan solusi yang optimum berkaitan dengan permintaan produksi. Berdasarkan data PG Pesantren Baru Kediri, peramalan yang tepat yaitu menggunakan metode holt winters multiplicative (HWM) dengan nilai MAD terkecil sebesar 141.629,700 dan sudah tervalidasi karena sebagian besar data in control. Hasil perhitungan perencanaan agregat penggunaan strategi terbaik yaitu yang memiliki total biaya terendah adalah chase strategy sebesar Rp660.645.660.600,00. Sedangkan, total biaya keseluruhan pada level strategy sebesar Rp661.259.812.400,00. Oleh karena itu, chase strategy lebih tepat dalam perencanaan agregat di PG Pesantren Baru.

PT Perkebunan Nusantara X is a company engaged in processing agricultural products consisting of the sugar and tobacco industry. PG Pesantren Baru is one of the subsidiaries of PTPN X which is located in Kediri Regency which focuses on sugar production. Demand for sugar production every month is different and uncertain so, planning or forecating needs to be produced according to demand and prevent product shortages. Aggregate planning is the basis of medium-term planning which aims to develop a comprehensive and optimal production plan. The method used is a table and graph method because it is easy to understand and use, the strategy used is the chase strategy and level strategy which is then selected by the strategy with the minimum total cost. The steps taken in this study carried out observations followed by the collection of literature review of data collection from PTPN X PG Pesantren Baru. Furthermore, forecasting requests for the next 6 months with the appropriate method is then verified and conducting aggregate planning. This study aims to produce optimum solutions related to demand for production. Based on the data from the PG Pesantren Baru, the correct method is using the holt winters multiplicative (HWM) method with the smallest MAD value of 141.629,700 and has been validated because most of the data is in control. The results of the aggregate planning calculation using the best strategy that is the one with the lowest total cost is the chase strategy of Rp660.645.660.600,00. Whereas, the overall total cost of the level strategy is Rp661.259.812.400,00. Therefore, the chase strategy is more precise in aggregate planning in the PG Pesantren Baru.
