Pemetaan situasi dilakukan karena kurangnya informasi geospasial di desa dan daerah pinggiran, pemetaan ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan informasi geospasial pada daerah tersebut. informasi geospasial diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk membantu pemerintah dalam proses pembangunan nasional berbasis desa dan daerah pinggiran, khususnya di Dusun Sidomulyo, Desa Beluk, Kecamatan Bayat, Kabupaten Klaten, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Peta situasi dibuat menggunakan metode pengukuran terestris dengan mengacu pada spesifikasi teknis pekerjaan yang telah ditentukan. Pada pengukuran kerangka kontrol horizontal diukur menggunakan metode poligon tertutup, sedangkan untuk pengukuran kerangka kontrol vertikal diukur menggunakan menggunakan metode pengukuran sipat datar terliti. Titik-titik detail planimetris diukur dengan metode ekstrapolasi koordinat kutub, sedangkan titik tinggi diukur dengan metode trigonometris menggunakan alat total station. Hasil pekerjaan pemetaan ini berupa peta situasi skala 1:500, berlokasi di Dusun Sidomulyo, Desa Beluk, Kecamatan Bayat, Kabupaten Klaten, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Informasi geospasial yang dihasilkan berupa data kerangka dasar pemetaan, data detail situasi dilengkapi keterangan atribut, dan kontur sebagai informasi topografi.

Situation mapping is done because of the lack of geospatial information in villages and suburbs, this mapping aims to provide geospatial information to the area. Geospatial information is expected to be used to assist the government in village-based and suburban-based national development processes, especially in Sidomulyo Hamlet, Beluk Village, Bayat District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. Situation maps were made using terrestrial measurement methods by referring to the technical specifications of the specified work. The measurement of the horizontal control survey was measured using a closed polygon method, while the measurement of the vertical control survey was measured using the highest-gross measurement method. Planimetric detail points were measured by methods with polar coordinate extrapolation methods, while trigonometrics were measured using the total station tool. The results of this mapping work were in the form of a 1: 500 scale situation map, located in Hamlet Sidomulyo, Beluk Village, Bayat District, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. Geospatial information generated in the form of basic framework data mapping detailed data situations equipped with description of attributes, and contours as topographic information.
