Efisiensi Alokatif Usahatani Cabai Merah Lahan Pasir Pantai di Desa Bugel Kecamatan Panjatan Kabupaten Kulon Progo

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kelayakan usahatani cabai merah di lahan pasir pantai (2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi cabai merah di lahan pasir pantai (3) mengetahui efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi cabai merah di lahan pasir pantai. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitis. Daerah penelitian ditentukan secara purposive sampling dengan pertimbangan bahwa Desa Bugel merupakan salah satu daerah yang mengembangkan usahatani di lahan pasir pantai, dan menjadi salah satu sentra produksi cabai merah di Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah 30 petani yang berusahatani cabai merah di lahan pasir pada musim tanam Maret 2018. Alat analisi yang digunakan adalah analisis kelayakan dengan R/C, fungsi produksi cobb-douglas, dan analisis efisiensi alokatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan usahatani cabai merah lahan pasir di Desa Bugel masih layak untuk dijalnkan dengan rasio penerimaan total dan biaya total sebesar 3,04. Penggunaan luas lahan dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap produksi cabai merah, serta pestisida padat berpengaruh negatif terhadap produksi cabai merah. Hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif menunjukan penggunaan luas lahan dan tenaga kerja belum efisien sehingga perlu ditambah, sementara pestisida padat tidak efisien sehingga penggunaanya perlu dikurangi.

This research aims to (1) determine the feasibility of red chili�s farming in land coastal (2) determine the factors that influence the red chili production in land coastal (3) determine the allocative efficiency of using red chili production factors in land coastal. The basic method used is descriptive analytical method. The research area was determined by purposive sampling with the consideration that Bugel Village was one of the areas that developed farming in land coastal, and became one of the centers of red chili production in Kulon Progo Regency. Sampling used a simple random sampling method with 30 farmers cultivating red chili in the land coastal in the March 2018 planting season. Analysis tools used were feasibility analysis with R / C, cobb-douglas production function, and allocative efficiency analysis. The results showed that red chili�s farming in the village of Bugel was still feasible to implement with a total revenue ratio and a total cost of 3.04. The input such as land area and labors has a positive effect on the production of red chili, and solid pesticides have a negative effect on the production of red chili. Results of allocative efficiency analysis show that allocation of land, and labors have not been efficient in red chili�s farming so they needs to be improved, while solid pesticides are inefficient so that their use needs to be reduced.
