Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Hutan Kota Srengseng di Jakarta Barat

Hutan Kota Srengseng merupakan salah satu contoh hutan kota yang berada di Kota Jakarta Barat yang berfungsi sebagai tempat aktivitas publik sekaligus penyelamat lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat, baik masyarakat sekitar Hutan Kota Srengseng maupun yang bukan dari sekitar Hutan Kota Srengseng. Penelitian persepsi dilakukan terhadap aspek kualitas fisik lingkungan, fungsi/manfaat, dan pengelolaan hutan kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey, pengumpulan data persepsi dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat bantu kuisioner dengan responden adalah para pengunjung. sedangkan pemilihan responden didasarkan pada rumus Slovin yang dihitung dari populasi pengunjung dan warga Kelurahan Srengseng. Berdasarkan perhitungan rumus Slovin diperoleh 200 responden yang terdiri dari 100 responden masyarakat Kelurahan Srengseng dan 100 responden masyarakat luar kawasan Kelurahan Srengseng, pengumpulan data dilakukan secara accidental sampling. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui tingkat persepsi warga Kelurahan Srengseng tentang kualitas fisik Hutan Kota Srengseng tergolong tinggi, lebih dari 84,8% responden menjawab kualitas fisik Hutan Kota Srengseng "sangat baik dan baik". Dari aspek fungsi dan manfaat hutan kota, lebih dari 84% responden menjawab "sangat setuju dan seutuju". Sementara dari aspek pengelolaan hutan kota, lebih dari 84% responden menjawab pengelolaan Hutan Kota Srengseng "baik". Sementara tingkat persepsi pengunjung dari luar Kelurahan Srengseng tentang Hutan Kota Srengseng juga tergolong tinggi, lebih dari 72,8% responden kualitas fisik Hutan Kota Srengseng "sangat baik dan baik". Dari aspek fungsi dan manfaat hutan kota, lebih dari 92,4% responden menjawab "sangat setuju dan setuju". sementara dari aspek pengelolaan hutan kota, lebih dari 75% responden menjawab pengelolaan hutan kota "baik". sehingga dapat dikatakan Hutan Kota Srengseng telah dikelola dengan baik dan fungsi serta perannya bisa dirasakan oleh masyarakat sekitar maupun pengunjung.

Srengseng Urban Forest is one example of urban forest in the city of West Jakarta which functions as a place of public activity as well as aresquer of the environment. This study aims to determine the perceptions of community, both the community around Srengseng Urban Forest dan those who are not from the vicinity of Srengseng Urban Forest. Perseption research based on the physical quality of the environment, function/ benefit, and management of urban forest. The research method used is survey method, collecting data perception by quisoner tool to the responden which is a visitor. Wheras determining respondent by Slovin formula and measured by amount of visitor and inhabitants Srengseng District. Obtained result 200 renspondent which consiting of 100 respondence from inhabitants Srengseng District and 100 respondent from visitors outside the Srengseng district with accidental sampling method. From the results of the research it is known the level of public perception of the physical quality of Srengseng Urban Forest is relatively high, more than 84,8% of the respondents answered teh physical quality of Srengseng Urban Forest "very good and good". In terms of the functions and benefits of urban forests, more than 84% of the respondents answered "very agree and agree". While in terms of urban forest management, more than 84% of the community responded to management of Srengseng Urban Fores "good". While for the visitor non Srengseng citizen the results of the study it is known that the level of public perception of the physical quality of Srengseng Urban Forest is high, more than 72,8% of respondents answered the physical quality of Srengseng Urban Forest "very good and good". In terms of functions and benefits of urban forest, more than 92,4% of the respondents answered "very agree and agree". While in terms of urban forest management, more tahn 75% of the community responded to management of Srengseng Urban Forest "good" so that it can be said that Srengseng Urban Forest has been well managed and its function and role can be felt by the community.
