RPKPS (Rencana Program dan Kegiatan Pembelajaran Semester) merupakan sebuah dokumen yang berisi rencana perkuliahan selama satu semester pada setiap mata kuliah yang harus disusun oleh dosen. Pengisian data RPKPS akan dilakukan setiap awal kegiatan perkuliahan dimulai atau awal semester. RPKPS akan digunakan sebagai acuan bagi dosen untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Namun alur proses mulai dari penyusunan RPKPS oleh dosen hingga persetujuan RPKPS oleh kaprodi kurang efektif dan efisien. Selain itu kaprodi mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan monitoring terhadap data RPKPS tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem informasi RPKPS. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem tersebut, dosen lebih mudah untuk melakukan pengisian dan pengiriman data RPKPS, serta kaprodi lebih mudah untuk melakukan monitoring dan mengelola data RPKPS. Sistem diharapkan dapat mempersingkat waktu dari alur persetujuan RPKPS oleh kaprodi dari yang sebelumnya menggunakan media Microsoft Office Word sebagai pengisian data RPKPS setiap mata kuliah, pengecekan data RPKPS melalui email oleh kaprodi, dan persetujuan dengan mencetak RPKPS kemudian ditandatangani oleh kaprodi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan RPKPS (Rencana Program dan Kegiatan Pembelajaran Semester) pada Program Studi Komputer dan Sistem Informasi ini mampu melakukan perbaikan kelemahan perancangan RPKPS secara konvensional. Sistem mampu mengolah data RPKPS termasuk CPMK, CPL, dan RKPM yang berada didalamnya. Sistem memungkinkan kaprodi untuk melakukan monitoring data RPKPS dan memberi persetujuan terhadap RPKPS. Sistem juga dapat mencetak data RKPM atau menyimpan data RKPM kedalam format pdf.

Semester Program Plan and Semester Learning Activities called RPKPS is a document that contains one semester lecture plan for each subject that must be arranged by the lecturer. Filling out the RPKPS data have to be done at the beginning of the semester. RPKPS will be used as a reference for lecturers to carry out the learning activities. However, the RPKPS flows started from the preparation process by the lecturer to the approval process by the Head of Study Program was less effective and less efficient. Besides that, the Head of Study Program has difficulty in monitoring the RPKPS data. The purpose of the RPKPS information system is expected that the system would make drafting process of submiting and monitoring RPKPS data to be easier. The system is expected to shorten the time from the RPKPS approval flow which were the lectures have to write RPKPS document with the help of Microsoft Office Word; the Head of Study Program has to check RPKPS data by email; and approval by printing RPKPS then signed by the Head of Study Program. The results of the study indicate that the RPKPS Management Information System (Semester Learning Program and Activity Plan) in the Computer and Information System Study Program is able to make improvement to the weaknesses of conventional RPKPS design. The system is able to manage RPKPS data including CPMK, CPL, and RKPM. The system allows the Head of Study Program to do monitoring the RPKPS data and give approval to RPKPS. The system can also print the RKPM data or save RKPM data in pdf format.
