Pengaruh Suhu 140 Derajat Celcius Dan 150 Derajat Celcius Serta Lama Waktu Pemanasan Terhadap Perubahan Warna, Stabilitas Dimensi Dan Sifat Mekanika Kayu Jati Cepat Tumbuh

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi suhu pemanasan dan lama waktu pemanasan terhadap perubahan warna, stabilitas dimensi, dan sifat mekanika kayu Jati Cepat Tumbuh. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 55 sampel setiap pengujian. Modifikasi suhu dilakukan dengan pemanasan suhu 140 derajat Celcius dan 150 derajat Celcius dengan lama waktu 6, 9, 12, 15, dan 18 jam. Pengamatan yang dilakukan yaitu Perubahan warna, stabilitas dimensi dan Sifat Mekanika Kayu. Hasil uji bahwa interaksi pengaruh suhu dan lama waktu pemanasan tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada nilai delta L, delta a, delta b, delta E, Rasio T/R, Penyusutan T, Penyusutan R, MOE dan MOR. Terjadi nilai yang signifikan pada beberapa faktor, untuk nilai delta E terbesar terjadi pada suhu 150�C yaitu sebesar 7,10 yang berarti mengalami perubahan warna yang tidak terlalu besar. Perlakuan panas dengan lama waktu pengovenan memberikan pengaruh terhadap nilai ketahanan kayu lebih tinggi.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of heating temperature and heating time on color changes, dimensional stability, and the nature of the Teak wood Fast Growing. The sample used is 55 samples per test. Temperature modification was carried out by heating temperatures of 140 Celcius degree and 150 Celcius degree for a period of 6, 9, 12, 15, and 18 hours. Observations made are color change, dimensional stability and nature of wood mechanics. The test results that the interaction of the influence of temperature and duration of heating time did not have a significant effect on the values of delta L, delta a, delta b, delta E, T / R ratio, T Depreciation, Depreciation R, MOE and MOR. There is a significant value on several factors, for the largest delta E value occurs at a temperature of 150 that is equal to 7,10, which means experiencing a color change that is not too large. Heat treatment with the length of oven gives an influence on the value of higher wood resistance.
