Gambaran Kebutuhan Pasien ICU di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta

Latar Belakang: Selama dilakukan perawatan di ICU pasien mengalami banyak prosedur invasif dan non invasif serta pengalaman tidak menyenangkan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan pasien ICU memiliki beragam kebutuhan. Memenuhi kebutuhan pasien sebagai individu yang unik merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pelaksanaan patient centered care dan sangat penting untuk menghindari terjadinya pengalaman yang tidak menyenangkan pada pasien. Tujuan Penelitian: Mengetahui gambaran kebutuhan pasien dan pemenuhan kebutuhan oleh staf ICU selama menjalani perawatan di ICU RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian merupakan penelitian non eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitaif dibantu triangulasi data menggunakan pertanyaan terbuka. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif eksplorasi dengan rancangan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling pada bulan Januari 2019-Maret 2019. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Patient Empowerment Questionnaire (PEQ-ICU) dan The Needs of Adult Patients in Intensive Care Unit (NAPinICU) untuk meneliti kebutuhan pasien dan pemenuhannya. Analisis data yang dilakukan analisis univariat. Hasil: Analisis univariat menunjukkan 88,3% responden memilih item pemberian informasi sebelum tindakan sebagai kebutuhan yang paling penting dan kebutuhan yang paling sering terpenuhi. Kesimpulan: Pasien ICU di RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta menganggap bahwa pemberian informasi sebelum tindakan merupakan kebutuhan yang paling penting dan kebutuhan yang paling sering terpenuhi.

Background: During treatment in the ICU, patients experience many invasive and noninvasive procedures and unpleasant experiences. This condition causes ICU patients to have various needs. Meeting the needs of patients as unique individuals is one of the important aspects of implementing patient centered care and it is very important to avoid unpleasant experiences in patients. Objective: Knowing patient needs and fulfillment needs by ICU staff during treatment at the ICU RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta. Methods: This study is a non-experimental study with a quantitative approach assisted by data triangulation using open questions. This research type is descriptive exploration with a cross sectional design. The study sample was 30 respondents. Sampling uses the total sampling technique in January 2019-March 2019. The study used the Patient Empowerment Questionnaire (PEQ-ICU) and The Needs of Adult Patients in the Intensive Care Unit (NAPinICU) to examine patient needs and their fulfillment. Data analysis carried out by univariate analysis. Results: Univariate analysis shows that 66.7% of respondents chose the item giving information before the action as the most important need and 88.3% of respondents chose the item giving information before the action as the most fulfilled need. Conclusion: ICU patient at RSUP Dr. Sardjito Yogyakarta considers that the giving information before the action is the most important needs and the needs most often met.
