Trypanosoma sp adalah penyebab penyakit surra pada sapi, kerbau dan kuda yang ditularkan melalui gigitan lalat Tabanus. Infeksi Trypanosoma evansi pada sapi umumnya bersifat kronik. Trypanosoma evansi dapat menginfeksi semua umur, baik hewan yang masih muda maupun hewan yang sudah tua, baik hewan jantan maupun hewan betina dapat terinfeksi penyakit ini.Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi parasit dan mengetahui kegiatan pemeriksaan yang dilakukan di laboratorium Balai Besar Veteriner Wates. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mencatat data sampel yang masuk di Balai Besar Veteriner Wates yang terkena kasus Trypanosoma sp pada sapi, kerbau dan kuda pada tahun 2017 sampai 2018.Berdasarkan data penyakit Trypanosomiasis yang diperoleh dari Laboratorium Parasitologi di Balai Besar Veteriner (BBVet) Wates, Yogyakarta periode tahun 2017 hingga 2018 secara keseluruhan yaitu sebanyak 1.129 sampel masuk dan banyaknya hasil positif uji sebesar 261 sampel dengan prosentase 23,11%. Total Kejadian penyakit Trypanosomiasis selama tahun 2017 sebanyak 202 sampel hasil positif dari total jumlah sampel yang masuk sebanyak 458 dengan prosentase kejadian 44,1% dan selama tahun 2018 dengan total kejadian yaitu sebanyak 59 sampel positif dari jumlah sampel yang masuk sebanyak 683 dengan prosentase kejadian 8,6%

Trypanosoma sp is the cause of the surra disease in cattle, buffalo, and horse. This disease is transmitted by Tabanus fly bites. Generally Trypanosoma evansi infection in cattle are chronic disease. Trypanosoma evansi can infected all age group and sexes.The objectives of this study are to discover parasitic infection in cattle, buffalo, and horse observe examination process in Veterinary Center Laboratory Wates. Data were collected from statistical data of suspected blood samples in cattle, buffalo and horse in Veterinary Center Laboratory Wates, Yogyakarta from 2017 - 2018.Based on the data of Trypanosomiasis disease obtained from Parasitology laboratory in Veterinary Center Laboratory Wates from 2017 - 2018, which is as many as 1,129 entry samples and the number of positive test results of 261 samples with a percentage of 23.11%. Total incidence of Trypanosomiasis disease during 2017 as many as 202 samples of positive results from the total number of samples entered as much as 458 with a percentage of events of 44.1% and during the year 2018 with the total incidence of 59 as many positive samples of the amount The sample entered as much as 683 with an incidence percentage of 8.6%
