Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jawaban tentang respon perajin Asesoris Perak terhadap sosialisas i Hak Atas Kekayaan Jntelektual (HAKI) di Kabupaten Bangli, termasuk juga faktor menjadi penghambat dalam upaya sosialisasi perlindungan hukum karya cipta produksi Asesoris Perak (karya seni desain dan pembuktian keterbatasan penerimaan informasi tentang keberadaan Hak Atas Kekayaan Intelektual). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yaitu data yang didapat dari bahan perpustakaan melalui studi dokumen, serta data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh langsung dari lapangan melalui wawancara. Data-data yang telah terkumpul diana lisa secara Deskriptif kualitatif. Sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengkaji atau menganalisis pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan mengkaji respon dan tanggapan perajin asesoris perak terhadap pemberlakuan Hak Atas Kekayaan Intelektual (HA.I

The research was conducted in order to find out the answer of silver accessories craftsmen response toward socialization of Intellectual Property Right ( IPR ) in Bangli District, and the obstacle factor on soc ialization effort of safety law for the production of silver accessories copyright ( work of art design and authentication of limited acceptance information about the intellectual property right existence ). The data used on th is research was secondary data which was done by studying documents from library and primary data was obtained by interviewing directly in the field. Those col lected data were analyzed descriptive qualitative. Based on the aimed of the research was to recite or ana lyze implementation of the socialization and recite the response and reaction of the silver accessories craftsmen toward the implementation of intellectual property right in district of Bangli. Indicator of the socialization covered response to the socialization, response to the material given, and response to the existence of Intellectual Property Right organization service. The research was carried out by interviewing deeply participants of the socialization and decision executor. Interviewed informants were those participants on the socialization who dispersed at four sub- district. Target of informants before the research conducted were 40 persons. Yet, after interviewing 40 informants, the research was considered had contributed complete data to give feature about the pat1icipants' response toward the socialization. The resu lt of this research showed positive response since the socialization could attract the participants, gave understanding, benefit and progress to their firm. The material of the socialization was considered quite difficu lt to understand since it was transferred by tutoring only instead of direct practice and also responsibility needed another special time. Response toward the Intellectual Property Right organization service, it could not yet cover the craftsmen's hope because its operational location in Bali province is located at Denpasar only, so consultation service was far and information given by the government ( Disperindag) was not coming from the organization of Intellectual Property Right itself.
