ANALISIS OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS DAN SIX BIG LOSSES PADA PROSES PENGOLAHAN BASAH TEH HITAM CTC (CRUSHING, TEARING, AND CURLING) DI KEBUN KERTOWONO PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA XII, LUMAJANG, JAWA TIMUR

2019 | Tugas Akhir | D3 AGROINDUSTRISalah satu perusahaan diwilayah Jawa Timur yang bergerak dalam industry perkebunan dan pengolahan teh hitam yaitu PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Kebun Kertowono, Lumajang. Pada proses pengolahan sering ditemui terjadinya jam henti akibat kerusakan mesin maupun akibat dari tidak stabilnya proses yang memaksa proses dihentikan sementara. Kondisi tersebut dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas pabrik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengukur nilai OEE pada stasiun penggilingan meliputi mesin Green Leaf Sifter, Rotorvane, CTC, Googie, stasiun fermentasi meliputi fermenting unit, dan stasiun penggilingan meliputi Vibro Fluid Bed dryer kemudian nilai OEE tersebut dibandingkan dengan standard JIPM. Selain itu juga mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab losses dan memberikan usulan perbaikan. Pengukuran kinerja mesin dilakukan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), six big losses, dan pemunculan solusi melalui bantuan analisa kualitatif menggunakan diagram paretodan diagram ishikawa. Nilai OEE tertinggi yaitu terdapat pada mesin Vibro Fluid Bed Dryer yaitu sebesar 75%, kemudian mesin Green Leaf Sifter, Rotorvane, CTC, dan Googie memiliki nilai sebesar 61%, dan nilai OEE terendah yaitu pada mesin Fermenting unit dengan nilai OEE sebesar 51%. Rendahnya nilai OEE disebabkan oleh Reduce Speed losses, idling and minor stoppages. Penyebab terjadinya losses ini dikarenakan kurangnya pengawasan pekerja tungku bakar, kerusakan pada mesin, serta kualitas bahan baku yang mempengaruhi kinerja mesin. Rekomendasi untuk mencapai efektivitas mesin yang lebih baik yaitu dengan meningkatkan pengawasan dari atasan serta, melakukan perawatan preventive dan predictive serta memperbaiki kualitas bahan baku yang masuk kedalam proses pengolahan dengan melakukan sortasi dan meningkatkan jumlah pucuk halus dan medium
One of the companies in East Java region that engaged in plantation industry and black tea processing is PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII (Persero) Kebun Kertowono, Lumajang. In the process of processing is often encountered the occurrence of downtime due to damage to machines or from the stability of the process that forces the process to stop temporarily. These conditions can affect factory productivity. The purpose of this research is to measure the OEE value of the milling station including Green Leaf Sifter, Rotorvane, CTC, Googie, fermentation station including fermenting unit, and milling station including Vibro Fluid Bed dryer then OEE value. Compared to JIPM standard. It also identifies factors causing losses and provides improvement proposals. Measuring machine performance is performed using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, six big losses, and solution appearance through the help of qualitative analysis using the Ishikawa diagram of Paretodan diagram. The highest OEE value in the Vibro Fluid Bed Dryer engine is 75%, and the Green Leaf Sifter, Rotorvane, CTC, and Googie engines have a value of 61%, and the lowest OEE value is the Fermenting unit with an OEE value of 51%. The low performance Rate, because the low performance Rate is caused Reduce Speed losses, idling and minor stoppages. The cause of this losses is due to lack of supervision of workers furnace, damage to the machine, as well as the quality of raw materials affecting machine performance. Recommendation to achieve better machine effectiveness by enhancing supervision from superiors and, doing preventive and predictive maintenance and improving the quality of raw materials entered into processing by doing Sorting and increasing the number of delicate and medium tops
