Tugas akhir ini menelaah tentang Perencanaan Records Centre di Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Yogyakarta. Perencanaan records centre di Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan, dilakukan mengingat permasalahan bertambahnya volume arsip yang cukup besar. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggabungan institusi, sehingga berdampak pada depo arsip lama. Adapun tujuan penulisan yaitu dapat mengetahui proses perencanaan records centre, dengan menggunakan elemen estimating volume, facility requirement, space planning, dan equipment, terhadap records centre baru. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penulisan tugas akhir yaitu studi pustaka, observasi partisipatif, wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, pada depo arsip lama sudah tidak dapat menampung tambahan volume arsip dan tempat tersebut akan dialih fungsikan kegunaannya. Perencanaan tempat penyimpanan arsip baru akan memanfaatkan gedung yang telah ada, sebagai kandidat tempat records centre baru. Kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam perencanaan records centre meliputi kebutuhan layout ruang, kebutuhan perlengkapan, dan kebutuhan tambahan sumber daya manusia.

This final project study elucidate about "Planning Records Centre at the Department of agriculture and food security of Yogyakarta Province". Planning records centre at the Department of agriculture and food security, do remember the problems increase the volume of the records. This is caused by the merger of the institutions, so that the impact on the old records storage. As for the purpose of writing that is able to know the planning process records centre, using elements of estimating volume, facility requirement, space planning, and equipment, against the records centre recently. Method of data collection used in the writing of the final project study, namely the study of the literature, participatory observation, interviews. Based on the observations, on old records storage already cannot accommodate the additional volume of the records and place it will disable it use of the building. New records storage planning will make use of existing buildings, as the candidate place of new records centre. The necessary needs in planning the records centre includes a layout space needs, the need for equipment, and the need for additional human resources.
