PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN TEPUNG DAUN ECENG GONDOK (Eichornia crassipes) DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP KUALITAS TELUR ITIK TURI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan tepung daun eceng gondok {Eichornia crassipes) dalam pakan itik Turi terhadap kualitas telur , Enam puluh tiga ekor itik Turi yang berumur 6-7 bulan dibagi secara acak menjadi tiga kelompok perlakuan pakan dan setiap kelompok perlakuan terdiri dari tiga ulangan dengan tujuh ekor itik untuk tiap ulangan , Perlakuan pakannya yaitu PI (0% tepung daun eceng gondok), P2 (5 % tepung daun eceng gondok) dan P3 (10 % tepung daun eceng gondok), Pakan diberikan dua kali sehari total 160 g dan air minum diberikan secara ad libitum. Penelitian berlangsung selama tiga periode peneluran (84 hari). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi pola searah dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan's Multiple Mange Test (DMRT) , Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak nyata terhadap berat dan indeks telur, berat dan tebal kerabang, berat putih telur, berat kuning telur serta nilai Haugh unit, sedangkan untuk nilai warna kuning telur menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) dengan rata-rata warna kuning telur masingmasing 2, 5, 7. Rata-rata berat telur untuk PI, P2 dan P3 yaitu 61,70; 61,40; 61,30 g/butir, indeks telur 0,82; 0,83; 0,82, berat dan tebal kerabang masingmasing 6,10; 5,70; 5 ,90 g/butir dan 0,38; 0, 36 ;0,37 mm, berat putih telur 36,3 ; 36 ,4; 36,2 g/butir, berat kuning telur masing-masing 19 ,7; 19,8; 20,2 g/butir dan nilai Haugh unit 98,42; 99 ,34; 99,42. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan tepung daun eceng gondok dalam pakan itik Turi sampai 10% berpengaruh pada kualitas telur terutama warna kuning telur . This research was conducted to determine the amount of eceng gondok leaf meal (Eichornia crassipes) that can be used as duck feed and its effect to the quality of Turi duck eggs , Sixty three Turi ducks with age of 6-7 month were devided randomly into three groups of feed treatment . Each group of treatments were devided into three replications with seven ducks for each replication. Feed treatment those of were PI (0% of eceng gondok leaf meal), P2 (5% of eceng gondok leaf meal), and P3 (10% of eceng gondok leaf meal). Feed given as much as 160 g twice a day and water was given ad libitum. The research was last for three laying periods (84 days). Data was analysed using one way variant analysis and continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT), The experiment results showed unsignificant differences to the egg weight , egg index, shell weight , shell thickness, albumen weight, yolk weight and Haugh unit value, but for yolk colour value it showed significantly difference (P<0,01) with each average yolk colour ware 2, 5 , 7 , The average of egg weights for PI, P2, P3 continuously were 61,7; 61,4; 61, 3g/egg, average of egg index 0,82; 0,83 ; 0,82, average of shell weight and shell thickness for each feed treatment were 6,10; 5,70; 5,90 g/egg , and 0,38; 0,36 ; 0,37 mm, average of albumen weight 36 ,3; 36 ,4; 36,2 g/egg, average of yolk weight 19,9 ; 19 ,8; 20,2 g/egg and average of Haugh unit value were 98 , 42; 99,34; 99 ,42 , From the experiment, the result can be concluded that the used on eceng gondok leaf meal to 10% in the ration of Turi duck effected to the egg quality especially to the yolk colour .
