Laporan Tugas Akhir ini membahas tentang kegiatan pengolahan arsip foto tersangka di Kepolisian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai arsip foto tersangka, proses pengolahannya dan upaya perlindungan yang dilakukan. Pengolahan dimaksudkan agar arsip foto tersangka dapat tersimpan secara sistematis dan mempermudah penemuan kembali. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penulisan Tugas Akhir ini ialah observasi partisipatif, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Observasi partisipatif dilakukan dengan cara ikut serta dalam kegiatan pengolahan arsip foto tersangka. Wawancara dilakukan dengan petugas yang melakukan proses pengolahan arsip foto tersangka. Serta studi pustaka dengan teknik pengumpulan informasi dari berbagai bahan pustaka yang dijadikan referensi dalam penulisan. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan ialah arsip foto tersangka digunakan sebagai persyaratan berkas yang akan diajukan kepada pengadilan. Pengolahan arsip foto tersangka yang dilakukan sudah cukup baik dengan adanya buku register daftar arsip foto tersangka, hanya saja penataannya memang belum dilakukan secara sistematis. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk menjaga kerahasiaan data tersangka dengan cara menyimpannya di dalam database Pusinafis yang dikunci dengan password dan hanya petugas tertentu saja yang dapat mengaksesnya. Kendala yang terdapat selama proses pengolahan arsip foto tersangka ialah belum adanya petugas yang secara khusus mengolah arsip foto tersangka dan pemanfaatan sarana yang belum optimal.

This final project report discusses about the suspect photographic records processing activities in the Kepolisian Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The purpose of this final project is to find out an overview of the suspects photo records, the processing and the protective measures taken. Processing is intended that the suspects photographic records can be stored systematically and facilitate rediscovery. Data collection methods used in writing this final project are participative observation, interviews and library studi. Participative observation is done by actively participating in the precessing of suspect photo records. Interviews is done with the officer who handle the process of processing the suspects photo record. Library study is done by collecting information from various library materials that are used as references in writing. The conclusion obtained are the suspect photo record is used as a requirement for the file to be submitted to the court. The previous processing is good enough with the book registered of suspect photo records, but just the arrangement has not been systematically. The protection efforts that done to suspects data by storing it in the Pusinafis databse which is locked with a password and only certain officers can access it. The obstacle during the processing process of suspects photo records are there is no special offier to process the supects photo records and utilization of facilities that have not been optimal.
