ELASTISITAS PENAWARAN DAN PERAMALAN HARGA DAGING AYAM BROILER DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA Yanuar Irawan Putranto 05/186688/PT/4988 Intisari Data sekunder secara time series dari tahun 2004 sampai 2009 digunakan untuk menentukan: 1) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi (penawaran) produk daging ayam broiler, 2) elastisitas penawaran (produksi) daging ayam broiler, 3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi harga daging ayam broiler, 4) meramalkan harga daging ayam broiler periode satu tahun mendatang. Data meliputi harga ayam broiler hidup, harga daging ayam broiler, harga pakan ayam broiler, harga DOC, biaya obat vaksin dan kimia (OVK) dan produksi daging ayam broiler di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Harga ayam broiler hidup berpengaruh positif (P<0,05) terhadap penawaran produksi daging ayam broiler. Harga daging ayam broiler bersifat elastis sebesar 4,22. Harga ayam broiler hidup, harga pakan ayam broiler, harga DOC, dan biaya OVK berpengaruh positif (P<0,01) terhadap harga daging ayam broiler. Ramalan tahun 2010 menunjukkan bahwa pergerakan harga daging ayam broiler di DIY periode mendatang masih berfluktuasi dan cenderung meningkat. Harga tinggi terjadi pada bulan September sampai bulan November dalam bulan islam masuk bulan Syawal, sedangkan peramalan harga rendah pada bulan Januari 2010 atau dalam bulan islam jatuh pada bulan Muharram. SUPPLY ELASTICITY AND PRICE FORECASTING OF BROILER MEAT IN THE PROVINCE OF YOGYAKARTA Yanuar Irawan Putranto 05/186688/PT/4988 Abstract Time series of secondary data from the year of 2004 to 2009 were used to determine: 1) factors affecting the supply, 2) supply elasticity, 3) factors affecting market price of broiler meat, 4) forecast of the price of broiler meat in the coming year. Data obtained were prices of marketed live broiler, marketed broiler meat, broiler feed, day-old chick (DOC), costs of medicine vaccines and chemicals (MVC) and broiler production in the province of Yogyakarta. The price of live marketed broiler affected (P<0.05) the supply of marketed broiler meat. The price of broiler meat was found to be elastic (?: 4.22). The price of live marketed broiler, broiler feed, DOC, and the cost of MVC gave positive effect (P<0.01) on the price of marketed broiler meat. Price forecasting for the year 2010 showed the increasing trend of price broiler meat. The high price would be in the period from the month of September to November, which is related to the Islamic month of Syawal. The low price would be in the period in the month of January, which is related to the Islamic month of Muharram. (Key Words: Broiler Meat, Elasticity, Price Forecasting)
