ESTIMASI NATURAL INCREASE SAPI POTONG DI KECAMATAN BRATI KABUPATEN GROBOGAN JAWA TENGAH

2010 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertambahan populasi sapi potong secara alami (natural increase ) di Kecamatan Brati Kabupaten Grobogan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Brati pada bulan Desember sampai Maret 2009, dengan jumlah desa 9 desa dan jumlah responden 1900 orang. Metode pengumpulan data primer yaitu menggunakan sensus dan pengumpulan data sekunder melalui pengumpulan data-data yang dimiliki oleh Dinas Pertanian Bidang Peternakan Kabupaten Grobogan. Parameter yang diamati meliputi identitas responden, kepemilikan ternak, struktur populasi, performans reproduksi ternak, mutasi dan natural increase. Data hasil penelitian ditabulasi dengan menggunakan program computer Microsoft excel kemudia dianalisis untuk menghitung rata-rata dan standar deviasi seluruh desa dalam satu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pekerjaan utama responden adalah bertani (96,34%) dengan tujuan pemeliharaan terbesar yaitu mendapatkan tabungan (64,88%). Jumlah populasi ternak sapi potong sebesar 2864 ekor (1810,95 UT), yang terdiri dari sapi PO 92,18%, SIMPO 7,19% dan LIMPO 0,45%. Nilai natural increase sapi potong di Kecamatan Brati diperoleh sebesar 12,90%, yang terdiri dari 13,62% sapi PO, 4,14% sapi SIMPO, dan 5,88% sapi LIMPO. Besarnya nilai kematian yaitu 0%. The research to know value of Natural Increase of beef cattle in Brati subdistrict of Grobogan regency. The research was conducted by cencuss method using questionnaire. This reseach was executed in December until March 2009, which in 9 villages and the amount respondents is 1900. Censuss method were used to collect data primary and data secondary was collected for Dinas Pertanian Bidang Peternakan Grobogan regency. Parameter to examine consist of respondent characters, the composition and population structure of cattle by farmer, performans of cattle reproduction, mutation, and natural increase. The data collect were tabulated with Microsof excel program and then the data collected were tabulated and to calculated the mean, the standard deviation and analyzed the percentages. The result showed that the main profession respondents were farmers (96.34%), with a purpose to biggest conservancy that is saving (68.23%). Total population cattles were 2864 (1663.60 UT), consisted of 92.18% PO cattle, 7.19% SIMPO cattle, and 0.45% LIMPO cattle. The estimation value of Natural Increase of beef in Brati subdistrict were 19.90%, consist of 13.62% PO cattle, 4.14% SIMPO cattle, and 5.88% LIMPO cattle. The mortality was 0%.
