PENGARUH LAMA PENYIMPANAN STUMP Paraserianthes falcataria DAN Swietenia macrophylla TERHADAP PERTUMBUHANNYA BERUMUR 3 BULAN DI LAPANGAN

Uji pengaruh lama penyimpanan stump Sengon ( P.falcataria ) dan Mahoni( S.aacrophylla ) dimulai dengan observasi lapangan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan alam dan persemaian kedua jenis tanaman HTI itu dengan ukuran standar klas diameter yang seragam antara 0,5 - 1 cm. Jenis Sengon berasal dari persemaian kelompok tani Desa Jebengsari,Salaman,Magelang, sedangkan jenis Mahoni berasal dari anakan alam petak 17 BKPH Candiroto, KPH Kedu Utara. Bahan tersebut dibagi dalam empat kelompok pengambilan sesuai keperluan perlakuan,kemudian disimpan pada tempat lembab. Uji penanaman dilaksanakan pada saat penyimpanan 0 hari di petak 5 Wanagama I, Gunung kidul. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama penyimpanan terhadap pertumbuhan stump Sengon dan Mahoni, untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan yang terbaik berdasarkan faktor lama penyimpanan . Parameter yang diukur meliputi : persen .iadi , tinggi tunas, pertambahan diameter batang, berat kering daun, berat kering batang,dan berat kering akar. Rancangan penelitian memakai pola acak lengkap berblok ( RCBD ) yang terbagi dalam 3 ulangan ( replikasi ) sehingga ada 3 blok. Setiap blok berisi 4 plot perlakuan yang tersusun secara acak. Dalam satu plot berisi 10 tree plot. Bahan tanaman uji berjumlah 3 blok x 4 plot x 10 treeplot = 120 stump perjenis atau 240 stump kedua jenis itu. Hasil analisis varians dan kompcnen varians menunjukkan adanya pengaruh faktor lama penyimpanan terhadap pertumbuhan stump, baik jenis Sengon maupun jenis Mahoni. Perlakuan 9 hari menunjukkan hasil pertumbuhan yang terbaik pada jenis Sengon dan Mahoni dibandingkan 6 hari , 3 hari , 0 hari.

The length influence test of Sengon (P . falcatria) and Mahagany (S . macrophylla) stump storages began with the field observation to know and get the nature and breeding for both kind of HTI plants with the standard measurement of the uniform diameter classes between 0.5 1 cm . The kinds of Sengon came from the breeding by the farmer group of Jebangsari Village , Salaman , Magelang , while the kinds of Mahagany came from the brach natural plot 17 BKPH Candiroto, KPH Kedu Utara. The materials were devided into four groups of takings according to the treatment needs , then they were kept in the humid area. The plantation test was held durinng the storage time of 0 days in the plot 5 of Wanagama I, Gunung Kidul . This research meant to know the length storage influence towards the Sengon and Mahagany stump growth , to know about the best growth based on the length storage influence. The measured parameter included : the result persen , bud height, rod diamter add , leaves dry weighth , rod dry weight , and root dry weight . The research design use blocked-complete-ramdom patterns (RCBD) which were devided into 3 replications, so that there were 3 blocks. Every block contained 4 plots of random structured-treatments. Every plot contained 10 treeplots. The test-plant materials consisted of 3 blocks X 4 plots X 10 treeplots = 120 stumps per kind or 240 stumps of both kinds. The variance analysys result and the component one showed the existence influence factor of the storage length toweards the growth of stumps both for the kaind of Sengon and that of Mahagany. The treatment of 9 days showed the best growth result on the kind of Sengon and Mahagany compared with 6 days, 3 days, 0 days .
