KINERJA REPRODUKSI INDUK SAPI PERAH FRIESIAN HOLSTEIN PADA TIGA KELOMPOK UMUR DI KOPERASI PETERNAKAN PASIR SALAM SUKABUMI JAWA BARAT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja reproduksi induk sapi perah pada tiga kelompok umur di Koperasi Peternakan Pasir Salam Sukabumi Jawa Barat. Sebanyak 60 ekor sapi diambil sebagai sampel dari total populasi 300 ekor sapi perah yang terbagi dalam tiga kelompok umur. Kelompok pertama yang terdiri dari 20 ekor sapi berusia empat sampai enam tahun (K1), kelompok kedua terdiri dari 20 ekor sapi yang berusia tujuh sampai sembilan tahun (K2), kelompok terakhir terdiri dari 20 ekor sapi berusia 10 tahun keatas (K3). Data yang dikumpulkan dari sampel ini meliputi umur pertama dikawinkan, umur beranak pertama, service per conception, post partum mating, days open dan calving interval. Data ini kemudian dianalisis dengan one-way anova dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum umur kawin pertama yaitu 22,69±3,0 bulan, umur beranak pertama 32,14±3,1 bulan, dan service per conception 1,5±0,2, post partum mating 137,90±62,57 hari, days open 166,70±52,57 hari dan calving interval 14,90±1,53 bulan. Kinerja reproduksi pada tiga kelompok umur KI, K2, K3 secara berturut-turut adalah service per conception 1,40±0,19, 1,49±0,22, 1,60±0,19 (P<0,05), post partum mating 109,0±24,8, 146,47±45,4, 158,25±67,1 hari (P<0,05), days open 153,10±19,66, 162,47±45,27, 189,05±61,26 hari (P<0,05) dan calving interval 14,31±0,64, 14,72±1,50, 15,65±1,89 bulan (P<0,05). Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja reproduksi terus menurun seiring pertambahan umur. The research aimed to find out the reproductive performance of dairy cows of three age groups at Pasir Salam Animal Husbandry Cooperation Sukabumi West Java. Sixty cows were selected as the research sample out of 300 dairy cows population which were classified into three age groups. The first group which consist of 20 cows was from four to six years old (K1), the second group consisting of 20 cows was from seven to nine years old (K2), the last group consisting of 20 cows was 10 years and older (K3). The data collected covered age at first breeding, age at first calving, service per conception, post partum mating, days open and calving interval. These data were then analysed by one-way anova and by Duncan’s test . The result showed that age at first breeding 22.69±3.0 months, age at first calving 32.14±3.1 months and service per conception 1.5±0.2 , post partum mating around 137.90±62.57 days, days open 166.70±52.57 days and calving interval 14.90±1.53 months. Reproductive performance of three age group K1, K2, K3 showed that service per conception 1.40±0.19, 1.49±0.22, 1.60±0.19 (P<0.05), post partum mating 109.0±24.8 days, 146.47±45.4 days, 158.25±67.1 days (P<0.05), days open 153.10±19.66 days, 162.47±45.27 days, 189.05±61.26 days (P<0.05) and calving interval 14.31±0.64 months, 14.72±1.50 months, 15.65±1.89 months (P<0.05). From the result, it can be concluded that the average reproductive performance decreased as the cows got older.
