PENGARUH PERBEDAAN DOSIS PROSTAGLANDIN F2a ANALOG PADA PENYUNTIKAN KEDUA TERHADAP SINKRONISASI ESTRUS DAN ANGKA KEBUNTINGAN KAMBING PERANAKAN ETTAWA

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan dosis PGF2a analog pada penyuntikan kedua terhadap sinkronisasi estrus dan angka kebuntingan kambing Peranakan Ettawa (PE). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Ngepring, Pakem, Sleman, Yogyakarta dari bulan Oktober 1995 sampai Januari 1996. Materi yang digunakan adalah 10 ekor induk kambing PE umur 2-3 tahun dan telah beranak 2-3 kali dengan kisaran berat badan 30-45 kg , lima ekor pejantan untuk mengawini betina yang estrus dan dua ekor pejantan pengusik. PGF2a analog yang digunakan adalah Reprodin bi^atan Bayer Vetcnem Ltd.,Indonesia yang mengandung Luprostiol 3 mg/ml. Ternak dibagi secara acak menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok I dan II pada penyuntikan pertama diberi dosis sama yaitu 3,75 mg Luprostiol dan pada penyuntikan kedua kelompok I dengan dosis 3,75 mg dan kelompok II 3,0 mg Luprostiol. Parameter yang diamati adalah persentase ternak yang estrus, kecepatan timbulnya estrus, lama estrus dan angka kebuntingan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Uji-t. Hasil analisis statistik terhadap perbedaan dosis Luprostiol pada penyuntikan kedua menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak nyata terhadap persentase ternak yang estrus ( 100% vs 100% ), kecepatan timbulnya estrus ( 28,20 ± 8,14 vs 35,90 ± 0,22 jam ), lama estrus ( 42,50 ± 7,81 vs 40,10 ± 8,4 jam ) dan angka kebuntingan ( 100% vs 100% ) pada kambing PE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk penyuntikan pertama dapat digunakan Luprostiol dengan dosis 3,75 mg dan untuk penyuntikan kedua dengan dosis 3,75 mg atau dosis yang lebih kecil yaitu 3,0 mg Luprostiol. This research was done to study the influences of the different doses of the second PGFoa analogue injection on the synchronization of estrus and pregnancy rate of Ettawa Crossbred Goat. This research had been done in Ngepring , Pakem , Sleman, Yogyakarta from October 1995 to January 1996. Ten does aged 2-3 years and had been twice kidding with average weight of 30-45 kg were used. Five bucks were used to breed does which were estrus and two bucks were as teaser bucks. The does were randomly devided into two groups (K1 and K2) . Reprodin ( containing 3,0 mg Luprostiol/ ml ) was used to synchronized the goats. The first (Kl) and the second (K2) group in the first injection were given 3,75 mg Luprostiol and in the second injection the first group (Kl) was injected with 3,75 mg Luprostiol and the second group (K2) was 3,0 mg Luprostiol . The observed parameters after second injection were the percentage of estrus, the onset of estrus, the duration of estrus and pregnancy rate. The t-test was used in the statistical analysis. The results showed that the different doses of the Luprostiol in the second injection were not significantly different on the percentage of estrus ( 100% vs 100% ) , the onset of estrus ( 28,20 ± 8,14 vs 35,90 ± 0,22 hours ), the duration of estrus ( 42,50 ± 7,81 vs 40,10 ± 8,4 hours ) and the pregnancy rate ( 100% vs 100% ). According to this research, it could be concluded that the first injection could be used 3,75 mg Luprostiol and for the second injection could be used 3,0 mg or less than 3,75 mg Luprostiol.
