PROFIL DARAH SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE PADA IIMUR DAN JENIS KELAMIN YANG BERBEDA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil darali sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) pada umur dan jenis kelamin yang berbeda. Materi yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 11 ekor sapi PO yang terdiri dari sapi PO jantan dan betina berumur muda (1 - 1,5 tahun) dan dewasa (5 - 6 tahnn). Pengambilan darali dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali dengan selang waktu 2 minggu sekali. Sampel darah kemudian dianalisis di Laboratorium Patologi Klinik Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Gadjali Mada. Data yang diainbil berupa jumlah eritrosit, kadar hemoglobin, nilai packed cell volume (PCV), total protein plasma (TPP), jumlah lekosit serta diferensial lekosit yang meliputi netrofil, limfosit, monosit dan eosinofil dianalisis dengan anahsis variansi pola faktorial 2 x 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor umur memberikan perbedaan yang sangat nyata (P < 0,01) terhadap jumlah eritrosit dan jumlah limfosit; terhadap nilai PCV, TPP, jumlah lekosit, eosinofil dan monosit menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata (P < 0,05); sedangkan terhadap kadar hemoglobin dan jumlah netrofil tidak menunjukkan perbedaan. Faktor jenis kelamin tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan untuk semua elemen profil darah kecuali terliadap jumlah lekosit dan limfosit. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara umur dan jenis kelamin dalam mempengaruhi profil darali sapi PO kecuali pada jumlah lekosit. Kata kunci : Profil darah, Sapi Peranakan Ongole, Umur, Jenis kelamin.

This research was conducted to observe blood profile of Ongole grade cattle at different ages and sexes. Eleven male and female Ongole grade cattle at the age of 1-1.5 years (young) and 5-6 years (adult) were used. The blood were collected 3 times in every 2 weeks. Blood samples were analyzed at Laboratory Of Clinical Pathology, Veterinary Medicine Faculty, Gadjah Mada University. The observed data were number of erythrocyte, hemoglobine concentration, the value of packed cell volume (PCV), total protein plasma (TPP), number of leucocyte and differential leucocyte that comprize of neutrofile, lymphocyte, monocyte, and eosinofile were analyzed in completely randomized design crossed classification 2x2. The result showed that age gave highly significant differences (P<0.01) to number of erythrocyte and lymphocyte, and also gave significant differences (P<0.05) to PCV, TPP, leucocyte, eosinofile and monocyte, there was not any effect to concentration of hemoglobine and neutrofile. Sex had no effect to all element blood profile except to leucocyte and lymphocyte. There were not any effect of the interaction between ages and sexes to all element of blood profile of Ongole grade cattle except to leucocyte.
