Dampak Deforestasi Pada Hutan Produksi Konversi Terhadap Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Kelurahan Tuah Negeri Kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau

Deforestasi merupakan perubahan secara permanen dari areal berhutan menjadi tidak berhutan yang diakibatkan oleh kegiatan manusia. Deforestasi juga terjadi di Hutan Produksi Konversi yang ada di Kelurahan Tuah Negeri yang berubah menjadi kebun kelapa sawit. Hal ini dapat memberikan dampak terhadap kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Kelurahan Tuah Negeri. Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui status dan peruntukan kawasan Hutan Produksi Konversi di Kelurahan Tuah Negeri, mengetahui penyebab deforestasi yang terjadi di Kelurahan Tuah Negeri, dan dampak deforestasi terhadap kondisi sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat Kelurahan Tuah Negeri. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini yaitu studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi literatur. Penentuan informan dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode Miles dan Hubberman yaitu dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status dan peruntukan Hutan Produksi Konversi di Kelurahan Tuah Negeri adalah untuk kebun kelapa sawit yang sebenarnya harus memiliki izin pelepasan kawasan. Deforestasi yang terjadi di Hutan Produksi Konversi adalah perubahan hutan menjadi kebun kelapa sawit. Masuknya budaya dan kebiasaan baru serta pertumbuhan penduduk mempengaruhi budaya masyarakat setempat dan juga terjadi beberapa konflik sosial akibat deforestasi yang terjadi. Dengan adanya perusahaan kebun kelapa sawit juga mempengaruhi kondisi ekonomi masyarakat karena adanya lapangan kerja baru, perbaikan infrastuktur wilayah dan pertumbuhan penduduk mempengaruhi kondisi ekonomi masyarakat.

Deforestation is a permanent change from forest area to non forest area which caused by human activities. Deforestation also occurs in the Conversion production forest in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri which turns into an oil plam plantation. Deforestation surely has a real impact on social economic life to community in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri. The purpose of this research were to find out how the management of Conversion Production Forest in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri, knowing the causes of deforestation that happen in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri, and the impact of deforestation on the social and economic condition of the community in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri. The research used qualitative approach of case study method. The data were collected through field observation, in-depth interview, and literature study. Purposive sampling was used to determine the informant. Miles and Hubberman analysis method was used to performed the data analysis and that begins from data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results showed that the allotment of Conversion Production Forest in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri is for palm tree plantation and must have an area release permit. Deforestation that happens in Conversion Product Forest in Kelurahan Tuah Negeri was the change of forest to oil plam plantation. The entry of new cultures and habits and growth of the population affect the social life of the community and can affect the culture of native community and also sosial conflict often happen because of deforestation. The existence of oil palm plantation companies also affects the economic conditions of the community because of new employment opportunities, improvements in regional infrastructure and population growth affecting the economic conditions of the community.
