Goni Journal merupakan bentuk kolektif terbuka, berisi ragam lintas disiplin, kolektif kreatif yang berupaya untuk menilik, mencatat, hingga merekam kembali apa yang ada di Magelang secara khususnya. Menilik pemuda yang berperan sebagai penggiat budaya dan mempunyai pola berjejaring antar wilayah maupun disiplin ilmu. Upaya untuk menentukan konvergensi nyata, berbentuk sebuah portal sebagai alat untuk menggali dan memamerkan hasil galian kepada masyarakat secara umum serta bermaksud untuk membentuk pengetahuan yang dapat dikonsumsi secara luas secara khalayak, mencakup wilayah peran, potensi, dan tantangan dalam sebuah wilayah. Tujuan penulisan untuk mengetahui profil Goni Journal, menjelaskan peran seorang Social Media Strategist di Goni Journal dan menjelaskan konten web Goni Journal. Data diperoleh selama penulis menjalani masa magang sebagai Social Media Strategist dan didukung oleh wawancara langsung dengan Online Production Manager, studi lapangan, internet dan juga sumber dari buku. Hasil dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyebar luaskan informasi yang lebih kepada orang-orang di luar yang belum mengetahui lebih tentang Magelang. Goni Journal mempunyai dua aktivitas yaitu online dan offline. Aktivitas online goni journal adalah memposting sisi lain Magelang yang khalayak umum belum mengetahui secara luas. Konten konten Goni Journal berisi berbagai macam bagian mulai dari kuliner, event, wawancara khusus, dan lain sebagainya. Konten-konten tersebut tak lain dan tak bukan adalah merupakan hasil dari aktivitas online Goni Journal tim yang bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan dan secara tidak langsung mempromosikan sisi lain Magelang yang belum diketahui publik.Kemudian, menengok kemajuan wilayah yang dilihat dari kreatifitas dan daya guna masyarakat, Goni berperan sebagai pendorong berbagai subsector kreatif dalam wilayah pencatatan hingga pendokumentasian atas gerak dan jejaknya. Pendirektorian yang berfungsi untuk menilik dan mengumpulkan semangat lokal.

Goni Journal is a form of collective open, contains a range of interdisciplinary, creative collective dedicated to tracing, recording, to record what's on the back of Magelang in particular. View a reflection of youth who serves as pop culture and have a pattern of network between regions or disciplines. An attempt to determine the real convergence, the shape of a portal as a tool to dig in and show off the results of excavations and to society in General as well as anaim to shape the knowledge that can be consumed widely in the region, including the role of the audience, potential, and challenges in a region. The objectives of this study are to understand the profile of Goni Journal, explain the role of Social Media Strategist at Goni Journal and explain the content of Goni Journal web. Data were collected during the writer did internship as social media strategist and supported by direct interview to the Online Production Manager, Field study, Internet and also library research. The result of this paper is aim to spread more information to the people outside that do not know yet about what Magelang is. Goni Journal has 2 activites, the first is online activity and the another one is offline activity. Online oactivity of Goni Journal posted the other sides of Magelang that might people do not know yet widely. The contents of Goni Journal itself contains many kinds of attractiveness about Magelang start from culinary, showcase, exclusive interview, annual event etc. the contents is the result of offline activity of Goni Journal team that it is purposed to document them and indirectly promote the other sides of Magelang that people do not know yet. Then, check out the progress of the area as seen from the creativity and effectiveness of the community, the driving role as Goni various subsector of creative within the recording until the documentation over the motion and in his footsteps.
