Perancangan Layout dan Desain Interior Ruang Unit Kerja Rekam Medis di Rumah Sakit Condong Catur

K Latar Belakang: Unit Kerja Rekam Medis RS Condong Catur memiliki empat ruangan di lantai dua yang terdiri atas satu ruang pengelolaan yang tergabung dengan ruang filing tanpa sekat pemisah, dan tiga ruang filing. Ruang unit kerja rekam medis tersebut kurang efisien karena ruang filing yang terpisah-pisah, dan berada di lantai dua sedangkan tempat penerimaan pasien berada di lantai satu. Oleh karena itu koordinator rekam medis ingin mengusulkan rancangan desain ruang unit kerja rekam medis baru sebagai usulan untuk rencana pembuatan gedung baru. Tujuan: Merancang layout dan desain interior ruang unit kerja rekam medis agar efisien dan nyaman untuk meningkatkan kinerja petugas unit kerja rekam medis dengan memperhatikan kebutuhan petugas rekam medis dan aspek ergonomis. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan ini adalah metode perancangan ruang Mark Karlen. Metode ini terdiri dari tahap pra-desain dan tahap desain. Hasil: Perancangan yang diperoleh adalah tiga desain rancangan unit kerja rekam medis. Desain terpilih untuk ruang unit kerja rekam medis merupakan hasil modifikasi desain alternatif dua dengan ruang filing yang mampu menampung 48 rak. Kesimpulan: Ruang unit kerja rekam medis sekarang kurang efisien karena beberapa faktor, yaitu jarak ruang filing jauh dengan tempat penerimaan pasien, ruang pengelolaan tergabung dengan ruang filing tanpa sekat pemisah, dan ruang filing yang terpisah-pisah. Usulan ruang unit kerja rekam medis baru di gedung yang baru sangat diperlukan. Rancangan layout dan desain interior unit kerja rekam medis alternatif 2 modifikasi sangat diperlukan untuk mendukung efektifitas dan kinerja para petugas rekam medis.

Background : The Condong Catur Hospital Medical Record Unit has four rooms on the second floor, it consists of a management room which has been including with a filing room without bulkhead, and three filing rooms. The medical record unit room is inefficient because the filing room asunder, on the second floor while the patient reception is on the first floor. Therefore the medical record's coordinator wanted to propose a new medical record room unit design as a proposal for the plan to construct a new building. Objective : Map out the layout and interior design of the medical record unit space in order to efficient and convenient, so it can improve the performance of medical record unit officers, by taking of medical record staff needs and ergonomic aspects. Method : The method used in this design is Mark Karlen space design method. This method consists of the pre-design and design stage. Results : The design which has obtained is three designs of medical record units. The selected design for the medical record unit room is the result of a modified alternative design with a filing room that can hold 48 racks. Conclusion : The current medical record unit inefficient because of several factors, namely the distance of the filing room far from the patient's reception area, the management room is combined with the filing room without separator, and the filing room is separated. The proposal of a new medical record unit in the new building is very necessary. The design of the layout and interior design of the second alternative medical record unit modifications are needed to support the effectiveness and performance of the medical record officers.
