PENGARUH PERBEDAAN DOSIS PENYUNTIKAN PROSTAGLANDIN F2a ANALOG SECARA INTRAVULVO SUBMUCOSAL TERHADAP SINKRONISASI ESTRUS DAN ANGKA KEBUNTINGAN PADA KAMBING PERANAKAN ETAWAH

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Ngepring, Pakem, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini adaiah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian PGF2a analog secara intravulvo submucosal (ivsm) dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap respon estrus dan angka kebuntingan kambing Peranakan Etawah (PE). Reprodin yang digunakan untuk sinkronisasi estrus pada kambing mengandung 3.0 mg Luprostiol/mi. Materi yang digunakan adaiah 10 ekor induk kambing PE yang berumur dua sampai tiga tahun dan sudah pernah beranak dua sampai tiga kali. Ternak dibagi secara acak menjadi dua kelompok. Kelompok I dan II pada penyuntikan pertama secara intramuskular (im) dengan dosis PGF2a analog sama yaitu Reprodin 1,25 ml. Pada penyuntikan kedua secara intravulvo submucosal, kelompok I diberikan dosis 0,625 ml dan kelompok II diberikan dosis 0,475 ml. Data yang diperoleh setelah penyuntikan kedua dianalisis dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) untuk jcecepatan timbulnya estrus dan lama estrus. Hasil analisa statistik tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata terhadap kecepatan timbulnya estrus (37,8 ± 9,71 vs 41,4 ± 7,33 jam), lama estrus (40,1 ± 8,44 vs 34,2 ± 3,47 jam), persentase estrus (100% vs 100%) dan persentase kebuntingan (80% vs 80%) pada kambing Peranakan Etawah. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini untuk sinkronisasi estrus pada penyuntikan kedua Reprodin secara ivsm dapat digunakan dosis 0,475 ml. This research was held in Ngepring village, Pakem, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This research was conducted to find out the estrus synchronization and pregnancy rate of Etawah crossbred goat injected by intravulvo submucosal (ivsm) with two different doses of analogue PGF2a- Reprodin containing 3.0 mg Luprostiol/ml was used to synchronize the estrus of the goats. Ten does aged two to three years and had two to three kiddings were used. The does were randomly divided into two groups. Group I and II in the first injection was done intramuscularly with the same doses of analogue PGF2a, that was 1.25 ml Reprodin. The second injection was done by intravulvo submucosal, group I was given 0.625 ml and group II was given 0.475 ml Reprodin. The onset of estrus and the duration of estrus were analyzed by Completely Randpmized Design (CRD). The results showed that the onset of estrus (37.8 ± 9.71 vs 41.4 ± 7.33 hours), the duration of estrus (40.1 ± 8.44 vs 34.2 ± 3.47 hours), percentage of estrus (100% vs 100%) and pregnancy rate (80% vs 80%) of Etawah crossbred goat were not significantly different for the two different doses of reprodin.
