Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah atau biasanya disingkat dengan istilah UMKM merupakan kelompok usaha yang memiliki jumlah paling besar dalam perekonomian Indonesia. Seiring dengan bertambahnya UMKM yang ada di berbagai kota maka banyak pelaku UMKM yang melakukan promosi untuk keberlangsungan usaha mereka. Jumlah UMKM di Indonesia yang mencapai sekitar 60 juta UMKM hanya sekitar 8% UMKM saja yang telah mempromosikan produk - produknya melalui platform online baik melalui aplikasi android maupun website. Penyebab utama yaitu dikarenakan para pemilik UMKM di Indonesia mayoritas sudah lanjut usia dan mengalami kesulitan untuk menggunakan teknologi dalam era digital. Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat juga sangat berpengaruh dengan pencarian informasi secara real time dan lebih efisien. Sejalan dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi, maka dibangunlah sebuah sistem dan aplikasi yang mempermudah pelaku UMKM dalam mempromosikan usahanya. Aplikasi ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat awam untuk menemukan lokasi UMKM berdasarkan jarak terdekat dari pengguna aplikasi. Keunggulan lain dari aplikasi ini yaitu dapat mengenalkan produk-produk unggulan dari UMKM yang ditampilkan secara komunikatif. Sistem informasi dengan berbasis web dikelola oleh seorang administrator dalam manajemen berbagai macam UMKM yang sudah terdaftar. Sistem ini dibangun dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dibantu dengan framework Laravel, Javascript dengan framework JQuery, webserver Apache, Lumen sebagai API serta MySQL sebagai basis datanya. Tujuan dibuat sistem informasi berbasis web ini agar mempermudah administrator untuk melakukan proses pengelolaan UMKM dan produk UMKM dapat dilakukan secara online dengan memanfaatkan jaringan Internet yang sudah berkembang pesat.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or widely known as UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) in Indonesia, is the largest business groups which support Indonesian economy. Along with the increasing number of UMKM in various cities, many UMKM businessmen need to promote their businesses. The rapid growth of technological development gives big influence to the information seeking in real time efficiently. In line with the development of information technology, a system and application is developed to facilitate UMKM businessmen promoting their business. This application is used by people to find UMKM's locations based on the closest distance from the application user. Another advantage of this application is introducing the best products of UMKM which communicatively displayed. The number of UMKM in Indonesia, which reaches around 60 million UMKM, is only about 8% of UMKM that have promoted their products through online platforms either through android applications or websites. The main cause is because the majority of UMKM owners in Indonesia are elderly and have difficulty using technology in the digital era. The web-based information system is managed by an administrator in the various management types of UMKM that have been registered. This system is built using the PHP programming language assisted by the Laravel framework, Javascript with the JQuery framework, Apache webserver, Lumen as the API, and MySQL as the database. The purpose of this web-based information system is to make it easier for the administrators to manage the UMKM and produce the UMKM by utilizing the rapidly expanding Internet network.
