KREATIVITAS KELOMPOK PAGUYUBAN MEKARSARI DALAM KESENIAN YAKSA BRAJADENTA VERSI DRAMATARI DI DESA WONODOYO, KABUPATEN BOYOLALI

Penelitian yang berjudul Kreativitas Kelompok Paguyuban Mekarsari dalam Kesenian Yaksa Brajadenta Versi Dramatari di Desa Wonodoyo, Kabupaten Boyolali ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk dan struktur pertunjukannya, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya, serta memahami tindakan kreatif kelompok masyarakat yang tinggal di Lereng Gunung Merapi, yaitu di Desa Wonodoyo, Kabupaten Boyolali. Penelitian difokuskan dalam versi dramatari karena pertunjukannya yang unik dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan etnokoreologi. Penelitian melibatkan beberapa konsep yang berasal dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Konsep yang digunakan ialah konsep teks dalam seni pertunjukan, konsep inovasi seni, dan beberapa konsep kreativitas yang menjelaskan perihal kreativitas seniman dalam menentukan ide, langkah-langkah penggarapannya, serta manfaat dari inovasi yang didapatkan. Kesimpulannya adalah pertama, kelompok Paguyuban Mekarsari menggarap kesenian Yaksa Brajadenta versi dramatari untuk menghadirkan bentuk pertunjukan baru. Kedua, bentuk dan struktur pertunjukannya dikemas dengan menampilkan kisah pewayangan, yang digarap dengan menghadirkan pertunjukan ritual, perangan, rampak buta, dan unsur-unsur kesenian lainnya yang bernuansa Jawa, Islam, dan Bali. Tindakan kreatif kelompok Paguyuban Mekarsari dalam menggabungkan berbagai macam unsur seni dilakukan melalui tahap eksplorasi, improvisasi, dan pembentukan. Tahapan tersebut tidak hanya dilakukan satu kali tetapi secara berulang. Tindakan kreatif yang telah menghasilkan inovasi seni memberikan manfaat bagi kelompoknya dan bagi masyarakatnya, yakni masyarakat menjadi terhibur karena adanya bentuk sajian yang baru dan kelompok seni yang bersangkutan dapat bertahan di tengah ketatnya persaingan pasar. Ketiga, kesenian ini terwujud karena adanya faktor dari kemampuan seniman (genius) dalam mempelajari seni secara autodidak, ketersediaan sumber bahan (resources), kebutuhan masyarakat dan kelompok (need), serta tersedianya waktu luang atau kesempatan untuk menggarap (opportunity).

The study entitled Creativity of The Paguyuban Mekarsari Group in Yaksa Brajadenta Dance Drama Version in Wonodoyo Village, Boyolali Regency is in purpose to analyze the form and structure of the performance, the factors that influence it, and also to understand the creative activity of society group who lives on the hillside village in the slopes of Merapi Mountain, in Wonodoyo village, Boyolali regency. The research is focused on the dance drama version because it is unique and interesting performance. This research uses qualitative method. The approach that used is ethnocoreology approaching. The research involves some concepts that come from various disciplines. The concepts that used are the concept of text in performing arts, the concept of art innovation, and several concepts of creativity that explain the creativity of the artist, that involves determination of idea, steps of progress of the work, and also the benefit of the innovation obtained. The conclusions are: First, Paguyuban Mekarsari group presents the dance drama version of Yaksa Brajadenta to show a new form of performance. Second, the form and structure of the performance are realized by showing puppet story, that is worked by presenting ritual performance, battleship, rampak buta and another Javanese, Islamic, and Balinese nuanced art elements. The creative action of Paguyuban Mekarsari group in combining ritual element and various other elements of art carried out through the exploration phase, improvisation, and forming. These phases are not only done once but repeatedly. The creative actions that have produced this innovation that provides the benefit to their group and their community, that the society becomes entertained because of the new form of the performance and the art group is able to survive with the stiff market competition. Third, this art is realized because of the ability of artists (genius) in learning autodidact arts, the availability of resources (resources), the needs of the society and the group (need), and the availability of free time or opportunities to work (opportunity).
