PENENTUAN KRITERIA DALAM PEMILIHAN SUPPLIER BAHAN BAKU YANG OPTIMAL PADA PT.SENTRA BINTANG SEJAHTERA

PT. Sentra Bintang Sejahtera (SBS) pada saat mendirikan Rumah Pengolahan Teh Rakyat memerlukan supplier bahan baku daun pucuk yang optimal agar dapat memproduksi teh kering yang memiliki kualitas yang baik secara konsisten. Kriteria pemilihan supplier bahan baku daun pucuk bukan hanya saja dari segi harga bahan baku dan kualitas bahan baku itu sendiri, melainkan perlu juga memperhatikan kriteria-kriteria lainnya seperti komunikasi dua arah dengan supplier, kemudahan penambahan atau pengurangan jumlah order pembelian dan kriteria lainnya. Oleh karena itu diperlukannya penentuan kriteria-kriteria dalam pemilihan supplier dan menentukan bobot masing-masing atas kriteria terebut segagai dasar evaluasi supplier, sehingga dapat menentukan supplier bahan baku yang optimal. Terdapat empat (4) kategori supplier bahan baku yang dimilik SBS saat ini yaitu (1) Petani, (2) Tengkulak Internal, (3) Tengkulak Eksternal dan (4) Sharing Kebun. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metoda Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk penentuan kriteria-kriteria dalam pemilihan supplier bahan baku daun pucuk teh dan pembobotan/scoring terhadap kriteria-kriteria yang telah dibuat sebagai dasar pemilihan supplier bahan baku daun pucuk teh. Dalam menentukan kriteria-kriteria dan pembobotan kriteria tersebut dibutuhkan responden yang mempunyan pengetahuan, pengalaman serta memiliki kewenangan dalam pemilihan supplier. Alat bantu yang digunakan untuk menjalankan metoda AHP pada penelitian ini adalah Expert Choice 11. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data didapatkan lima (5) kriteria yaitu Quality (empat sub kriteria), Cost (empat sub kriteria), Delivery (tiga sub kriteria), Responsiveness (tiga sub kriteria), dan Flexibility (dua sub kriteria) yang sesuai dengan bisnis dari SBS dalam atau memilih supplier bahan baku. Adapun dari hasil perhitungan bobot global terhadap seluruh sub kriteria lima prioritas teratas yaitu: Cost (33,9%), Quality (28,7%), Responsiveness (21,8%), Flexibility (10,3%) dan Delivery (5,3%). Sedangkan untuk pembobotan supplier bahan baku yang optimal dengan bobot tertinggi yaitu Tengkulak Internal (36,2%), Sharing Kebun (35,5%), Petani (15,8%) dan Tengkulak Eksternal (12,5%).

PT. Sentra Bintang Sejahtera (SBS) at the time of establishing the People's Tea House Processing requires an optimal supplier of shoots to produce dry tea that has good quality consistently. The criteria for selecting suppliers of shoots are not only in terms of raw material prices and the quality of the raw materials themselves, but also need to pay attention to other criteria such as two-way communication with suppliers, ease of addition or reduction in the number of purchase orders and other criteria. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the criteria in supplier selection and determine the weight of each of these criteria as a basis for evaluating suppliers, so as to determine the optimal supplier of raw materials. There are four (4) categories of raw material suppliers currently owned by SBS, namely (1) Farmers, (2) Internal Broker, (3) External Broker and (4) Garden Sharing. In this research, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used to determine the criteria for selecting suppliers of tea leaves raw materials and weighting / scoring of the criteria that had been made as the basis for suppliers of raw tea leaves. In determining the criteria and weighting required by respondents who possess knowledge, experience and have authority in selecting suppliers. The tools used to run AHP at this time are Expert Choices 11. Based on the results of data processing, there were five (5) criteria, namely Quality (four sub criteria), Cost (four sub criteria), Delivery (three sub criteria), Responsiveness (three sub criteria), and Flexibility (two sub criteria) that fit the business from SBS in or choosing suppliers of raw materials. The results of the calculation of global weights on all sub-criteria of the top five priorities are: Cost (33.9%), Quality (28.7%), Responsiveness (21.8%), Flexibility (10.3%) and Delivery (5.3%). While for the optimal weighting of raw material suppliers with the highest weights are Internal Broker (36.2%), Garden Sharing (35.5%), Farmers (15.8%) and External Broker (12.5%).
