Pengaruh Kebijakan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Terhadap Perilaku Pekerja Konstruksi

Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja merupakan salah satu hal penting yang patut mendapat perhatian dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan konstruksi. Namun demikian pelaksanaannya tidaklah mudah seperti kebijakan dan peraturan yang ada. Berbagai metode sudah diterapkan guna terpenuhinya peraturan tersebut. Salah satunya adalah dengan detail aturan kebijakan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang dituangkan dalam klausul kontrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas keberadaan kebijakan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja terhadap perilaku pekerja konstruksi. Dimana kebijakan tersebut tertuang dalam kontrak terhadap pemenuhan aspek keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja bagi pekerja konstruksi. Pengamatan ini dilakukan pada tiga proyek konstruksi gedung di wilayah Yogyakarta, yaitu proyek pembangunan Gedung A, proyek pembangunan Gedung B dan proyek pembangunan Gedung C. Pemilihan responden dilakukan secara purposive sampling pada level management dan level pekerja untuk selanjutnya dilakukan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pekerja pada proyek pembangunan Gedung B dan Gedung C lebih tertib memakai alat pelindung diri daripada pekerja pada proyek pembangunan Gedung A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya kebijakan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang lebih rigid tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pekerja dalam memakai alat pelindung diri.

Occupational safety and health is one thing that is very important to get more attention in the implementation of construction work. However, the implementation isnoty easy as the existing policies and regulations. Various methods have been used to fulfill these regulations. Which one is in detail the policy and occupational health as outlined in the contract clause. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the occupational health on the behavior of construction workers. Where the policy is contained in the contract for the fulfillment of occupational safety and health aspects for construction workers. This observation was carried out on three building construction projects in the Yogyakarta region, namely the Building A, Building B and Building C development project. The selection of respondents was done by purposive sampling at the level of management and worker level for further quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on research conducted by workers on Building B and Building C development projects, it is more orderly to use personal protective equipment than workers in Building A. The results of the study show that the existence of a more complete occupational safety and health policy does not affect the behavior of workers in wearing protective equipment.
