UPCOMING IMPACTS OF INDUSTRY 4.0 AND SMART FACTORIES WITH IMPLICATIONSFOR COMPANIES' FUTURE ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENTAND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURES IN INDONESIA

Dengan perlahan-lahan, bentuk operasi industri saat ini semakin beragam dan maju karena inovasi yang cepat. Di setiap era revolusi industri, ada banyak penemuan evolusioner dan revolusioner yang berdampak pada banyak sektor industri yang mengubah tren atau proses penciptaan. Namun kita memasuki tahap keempat dari revolusi industri, yang disebut Industri 4.0 dan akan ada perubahan besar dalam hidup kita tentang cara mengoperasikan seluruh operasi dan peran kita dalam operasi. Fokus dalam Industri 4.0 adalah operasi yang yang akan membutuhkan lebih sedikit tenaga manusia atau interaksi selama proses tersebut. Perusahaan yang masuk ke Industry 4.0 disebut 'Smart Factories' yang sangat otomatis, dengan menggunakan articifial intelligence, fleksibel dan dapat disesuaikan, tetapi masih mampu diproduksi secara massal. Namun, variasi pekerjaan mungkin berkurang karena sebagian besar pengusaha akan megganti karyawan dengan teknologi IT tinggi untuk menjalankan pabrik. Selain itu, kategori pekerjaan baru akan muncul dan core competencies baru di antara orang akan muncul, rantai pasokan dan manajemen produksi akan semakin penting untuk menjadi lebih dinamis dan fleksibel. Dunia proses digitalisasi dalam fasilitas manufaktur dan pelaksanaan Manajemen Risiko Perusahaan masih belum jelas dan perlu penelitian lebih lanjut. Industry 4.0 dapat memberikan efek efektif atau negatif pada dampak sosial dan konsekuensi tersebut telah memicu minat dalam proyek penelitian di masa depan tentang Smart Factories.

Abstract Silently, current shapes of industrial operation are diversifying and advancing because of rapid innovation. In each industrial revolution era, there was numerous evolutionary and revolutionary inventions that has impacted to many industry sectors which change the trend or process of creation. Yet we are entering fourth stage of industrial revolution, which is called Industry 4.0 and there will be tremendous changes to our lives at how to operate the whole operation and our role in the operation. High focus in Industry 4.0 is in dehumanized operation which will require less human labor or interaction during the process. Such enterprises that entered to Industry 4.0 are called 'Smart Factories' which is highly automated, mostly use artificial intelligence, connected, flexible and adjustable, but still capable of mass production. However, variation of the job may decreases because most employers will seek employees with high IT-technology or knowledge to run the factories. Moreover, new categories of job will emerge and new core competencies among people will arise, supply chain and production management will increasingly important to become more dynamic and flexible. World of digitalization process in manufacturing facilities and Enterprise Risk Management execution is still remains unclear and need further research. Industry 4.0 can give effective or disastrous effect on the social impacts and such consequences has triggered of interest in future research project about Smart Factories.
