Peran Kelompok Tani dalam Penerapan Teknologi Budidaya Kakao di Kecamatan Patuk Kabupaten Gunungkidul

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Patuk Kabupaten Gunungkidul dengan tujuan 1) mengetahui peran kelompok tani dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao di Kecamatan Patuk, Kabupaten Gunungkidul; 2) mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran kelompok tani dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao di Kecamatan Patuk, Kabupaten Gunungkidul; dan 3) mengetahui pengaruh peran kelompok tani dan faktor-faktor lain terhadap penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao di Kecamatan Patuk, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel kelompok tani dilakukan secara purposif dan pengambilan sampel anggota kelompok tani dilakukan dengan metode simple random sampling. Dimana dari kelompok tani terpilih diambil masing-masing 15 anggota kelompok tani sebagai sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji proporsi dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurang dari 50% anggota kelompok tani berpendapat bahwa kelompok tani memiliki peran yang tinggi dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya kakaodi Kecamatan Patuk, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif terhadap peran kelompok tani dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao yaitu peran ketua kelompok tani dan peran PPL. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh negatif terhadap peran kelompok tani yaitu sikap petani dan pendidikan. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif terhadap penerapan teknologi budidaya kakao yaitu keaktifan dalam penyuluhan dan sikap petani.

This research was conducted in the Sub District of Patuk Gunungkidul Regency in order 1) to know about the role of farmer groups in the application of cocoa cultivation technology in Sub District of Patuk Gunungkidul Regency; 2) to know the factors that influence the role of farmer groups in the application of cocoa cultivation technology in the Sub District of Patuk Gunungkidul Regency; 3) to know the influence of the role of farmer groups and the other factors towards the application of the cocoa cultivation technology in Patuk District, Gunungkidul Regency. The basic method is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The farmer groups were selected with purposive and the member of the farmer groups was chosen using simple random sampling. Fifteen members of the each selected farmer groups were taken as samples. The analytical methods that were used in this study were the proportion test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research showed that less than 50% of farmer group members were saying that the farmer groups have a high role in the application of cocoa cultivation technology in Patuk District, Gunungkidul Regency. The factors that give a positive effect on the role of farmer groups in the application of cocoa cultivation technology are the role of the leader of the farmer groups and the role of the extension worker, while the factors that negatively influence the role of farmer groups are farmers attitudes and education. The factors that give positive influence towards the application of cocoa cultivation technology are activeness in counselling and attitudes of farmers.
