KEBERHASILAN GERAKAN ONE MILLION SIGNATURE MENDORONG REFORMASI MUDAWWANA DI MAROKO

Reformasi Mudawwana pertama yang terjadi pada tahun 1993 digadang-gadang sebagai momen bersejarah bagi perempuan dan gerakan sipil di Maroko. Gerakan One Million Signature yang diinisiasi oleh Union de l'Action Feminine (UAF), merupakan gerakan sipil pertama yang mampu mendorong dilakukannya reformasi hukum di dalam tubuh negara monarkis tersebut. Skripsi ini akan menganalisis momen-momen yang menyertai reformasi Mudawwana tahun 1993 dan bagaimana faktor-faktor makro maupun mikro memainkan peran dalam upaya reformasi hukum keluarga pertama di Maroko. Teori Lisa Baldez yang berupa proses tipping, timing dan framing menawarkan kerangka teoretik yang mampu menjelaskan momen-momen tersebut dan bagaimana faktor-faktor tersebut berjalin-kelindan satu sama lain sehingga menciptakan kondisi yang memungkinkan untuk gerakan tersebut berhasil.

Morocco's first Mudawwana reform in 1993 was hailed as a historic event for women and for the history of civil movement in Morocco. The One Million Signature movement, organized by Union de l'Action Feminine (UAF), was the first civil movement to pushes a law reform in the monarchal state. This thesis offers an analysis of the events leading up to the events 1993 and how the macro and micro factors play a part in realizing the first family law reform in Morocco. Lisa Baldez's theory of tipping, timing, and framing process provides a theoretical framework to examine these events and how they interact with each other to allow the success of the movement.
