Tugas Akhir ini adalah terjemahan dari buku berjudul Tokyo Dizuniirizooto Kyasuto no Shigoto : Disney in Pocket yang diterbitkan oleh perusahaan Kodansha. Kyasuto atau Cast adalah sebuah sebutan seorang karyawan yang bekerja di Tokyo Disneyland. Buku ini memperkenalkan semua 27 pekerjaan dari pemandu Tokyo Disney Resort, dan dirangkum dengan cara yang mudah dimengerti. Tokyo Dizuniirizooto Kyasuto no Shigoto : Disney in Pocket ini dipilih untuk diterjemahkan karena menarik untuk menjadi bahan bacaan khususnya bagi orang orang yang menyukai taman hiburan. Penjelasannya juga disertai dengan gambar dan ilustrasi yang menarik sehingga memudahkan pembaca untuk memahami isinya. Selain itu, tujuan dari terjemahan ini yaitu untuk menambah wawasan pembaca mengenai Tokyo Disney Resort. Terdapat beberapa kendala saat menerjemahkan buku ini. Kendala tersebut di antaranya adalah memilih padanan kata yang sesuai dan menyusun kalimat secara efektif, karena dalam bahasa sumber tidak dijelaskan secara spesifik. Untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut maka harus memahami isi keseluruhan teks dengan cara mencari padanan kata yang sesuai dengan makna asli dari bahasa sumber, sehingga diharapkan makna dari teks asli dapat tersampaikan kepada pembaca.

This final paper is a translation of a book entitled Tokyo Dizuniirizooto Kyasuto no Shigoto: Disney in Pocket which is published by Kodansha. Kyasuto or Cast is a term for an employee who works at Tokyo Disneyland. This book introduces all 27 occupations of Tokyo Disney Resort casts, and summarizes it to easy-to-understand content. Tokyo Dizuniirizooto Kyasuto no Shigoto: Disney in Pocket was chosen to be translated because it is interesting to be a reading material especially for people who like amusement parks. The explanation is also accompanied by interesting pictures and illustrations that make it easier for readers to understand the contents. In addition, the purpose of this translation is to increase the readers' insight into the Tokyo Disney Resort. There are several problems while translating this book. These problems include choosing the appropriate word equivalents and composing sentences effectively, because in source languages are not specifically explained. To overcome these problems, the writer must understand the contents of the entire text by finding the equivalent words that match the original meaning of the source language, so that the meaning of the original text is expected to be conveyed to the reader
