PENAKSIRAN KANDUNGAN KARBON HUTAN RAKYAT JENIS JATI (Tectona grandis) DI DESA SELOPURO KABUPATEN WONOGIRI

Hutan rakyat saat ini semakin berkembang. Perkembangan ini dapat diketahui dari semakin luasnya cakupan hutan rakyat dari tahun ke tahun. Hutan dapat berfungsi sebagai penyerap karbon melalui proses fotosintesis. Pada saat itulah karbon dipindahkan dari atmosfer ke dalam jaringan tanaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan biomassa dan kandungan karbon yang terdapat pada tanaman jati yang diusahakan pada hutan rakyat di Desa Selopuro Kabupaten Wonogiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara biomassa, kandungan karbon terhadap diameter dan tinggi pohon jati. Model allometrik penduga biomassa sebesar B = 0,036.D2,84 dan kandungan biomassa pada hutan rakyat adalah 60,98 ton/ha. Model allometrik penduga kandungan karbon C = e(-6,7 + 3,2.lnD) dan kandungan karbon pada hutan rakyat sebesar 1,95 ton/ha.

The latest development of community forest is more grow up. The development can be known by more larger area of the community forest from year to year. The forest can used as carbon absorber with fotocintetic. At this time carbon transfer from atmosfer to tissue of plant. The aims of research are to know the biomassa contents and the carbon contents in tectona grandis in community forest at Selopuro village Wonogiri district. The result of research are relationship beetwen biomassa and carbon content with diameter and high of tectona grandis. Allometric model of biomassa estimate is B = 0,036.D2,84 and the content of biomassa in the publict forest is 60,98 ton/ha. Allometric model of content carbon estimate at tecnona grandis is C = e(-6,7 + 3,2.lnD) and the contents of carbon in the publict forest is 1,95 ton/ha.
