KESESUAIAN JENIS POHON UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN RUANG TERBUKA HIJAU DI KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

Pengadaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau di Kabupaten Banyuwangi terus ditingkatkan luasannya guna mengimbangi pembangunan fisik kota. Namun, pemilihan jenis pohon sebagai penunjang fungsi ruang terbuka hijau belum dipertimbangkan saat pembangunan dilakukan. Pemilihan jenis pohon penyusun juga perlu diperhatikan agar sesuai dengan persyaratan tumbuhnya, mampu memenuhi fungsi sosial, dan tidak memerlukan biaya pemeliharaan yang tinggi sehingga mampu tumbuh dengan baik dan berfungsi secara optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis pohon penyusun ruang terbuka hijau dan mengetahui kesesuaian jenis pohon penyusun yang sesuai dengan fungsi ruang terbuka hijau di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi langsung untuk mengetahui jenis pohon penyusun ruang terbuka hijau. Kemudian, jenis pohon akan diidentifikasi sesuai dengan karakteristik yang telah ditentukan dan dinilai dengan skala penilaian. Data yang diperoleh akan ditabulasi dan diklasifikasikan dengan interval kelas sesuai, cukup sesuai, dan sangat sesuai. Analisis deskriptif dilakukan untuk menjelaskan jenis pohon yang sesuai untuk pengembangan ruang terbuka hijau di Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui jenis pohon penyusun ruang terbuka hijau di Kabupaten Banyuwangi terdiri dari 57 jenis yang berasal dari 23 famili. Jenis pohon yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan sebanyak 18 jenis dan 29 jenis dalam kategori sesuai

The existence of Green Open Space in Banyuwangi Regency continues to be expanded in order to balance the city's infrastructure development. However, the selection of tree species as a support for the function of green open space has not been considered when construction is carried out. The choice of the tree species also needs to be considered from environmental factors, social factors, and economic factors cost so that it can grow well and function optimally. The purpose of this study was to determine the type of tree that composes the green open space and to determine the suitability of the constituent tree species in accordance with the function of green open space in Banyuwangi Regency. Research data collection is done by direct observation method to determine the type of tree that composes the green open space. Then, the type of tree will be identified according to the characteristics that have been determined and assessed by the rating scale. The data obtained will be tabulated and classified according to class intervals, quite appropriate, and very suitable. Descriptive analysis was conducted to explain the type of tree suitable for the development of Green Open Space in Banyuwangi Regency. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the tree species that compose the Green Open Space in Banyuwangi Regency consist of 47 species from 23 families. The types of trees that fall into the category are very suitable with the criteria that have been determined as many as 18 species and 29 species in the category that are suitable
