Masyarakat menebang kayu hanya pada saat butuh saja, sehingga perlu diketahui adanya pendugaan daur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan basis aturan penentuan daur pada pengelolaan hutan rakyat dengan menggunakan logika fuzzy. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran mengenai aturan penentuan daur hutan rakyat sebagai bahan pertimbangan pengambilan kebijakan pengusahaan hutan rakyat secara lestari dari aspek produksi. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif analitis disertai dengan pengamatan kuantitatif. Model pendugaan daur tebang dibuat dengan dasar logika fuzzy. Variabel-variabel yang digunakan untuk pendugaan daur yaitu diameter tegakan Jati di lapangan, luas lahan, persen komposisi tegakan Jati, jumlah keluarga dan diameter yang akan ditebang. Dari variabel-variabel tersebut dilakukan simulasi data dan perhitungan defuzzyfikasi/rata-rata terbobot. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah basis aturan dengan nilai dugaan daur ratarata sebesar 33 tahun. Bila seperti kluster A maka daurnya 18 tahun, bila seperti kluster B maka daurnya 20 tahun, bila seperti kluster C maka daurnya 28 tahun dan bila seperti kluster D maka daurnya 23 tahun.

The purpose of this study is to determine the basis of determining the rules of recycling in the management of forests using fuzzy logic. The benefits of this research is to provide an overview of the rules determining the forest cycle for consideration by the people making policy in a sustainable forest management from the aspect of production. The basic method used in research is analytical descriptive method with quantitative observations. Model predictions are made with a cutting cycle of basic fuzzy logic. The variables used to estimate the diameter recycled teak stands in a field, land area, percent composition of stands of Teak, family size and diameter to be cut down. Of these variables simulated data and calculations performed defuzzyfication/weighted average. The results of this study is the rules of basis with the alleged cycle average of 33 years. When such as cluster A then 18-years cycle, when such as cluster B then 20-years cycle, when such as cluster C then 28-years cycle and when such as cluster D then 23-years cycle.
