Evaluasi dan Pemetaan Kebutuhan Alat dan Mesin Pertanian di Kabupaten Tegal

Sejalan dengan program pemerintah mengenai swasembada pangan, Kabupaten Tegal memberikan bantuan alat mesin pertanian (alsintan) ke beberapa wilayahnya. Akan tetapi pemberian ini belum sepenuhnya terlaksana. Perubahan penggunaan lahan dan tenaga kerja menjadi kendala yang harus diperhitungkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menghitung luas cakup dan kebutuhan alsintan serta membuat peta kebutuhannya. Evaluasi alsintan dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan luas lahan sawah, jumlah alat dan mesin yang tersedia dengan asumsi tidak ada penambahan tenaga kerja dari manusia maupun ternak hela. Analisis dilakukan dengan perhitungan matematis. Dari hasil perhitungan didapat nilai luas cakup dan kebutuhan alsintan. Hasil ini kemudian digunakan dalam pembuatan peta kebutuhannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa luas cakup alsintan untuk traktor sebesar 29.081,25 ha, transplanter 774,56 ha dan combine harvester 720 ha. Kebutuhan traktor sebanyak 498 unit, transplanter 839 unit dan combine harvester 981 unit. Informasi pada peta kebutuhan berupa tingkat kebutuhan dan jumlah alsintan yang harus ditambahkan.

In accordance with the government's program on food self-sufficiency, Tegal Regency provided assistance with agricultural machinery to several of regions. However, this assistance has not been fully implemented. Changes in land conversion and labor became the obstacles that must be taken into account. The purpose of this study was to calculate the extent and needs of farming tools and machinery and to create a map of their needs. Farming tools and machinery's evaluation was carried out by considering the paddy field area, the number of tools and machines available with the assumption that there was no additional workforce from humans or livestock. The analysis was conducted by mathematical calculations. This study showed that the area covered by farming tools and machinery for tractors were 29,081.25 ha, transplanter 774.56 ha and combine harvester 720 ha. Tractor needs as many as 498 units, transplanter 839 units and combine harvester 981 units. Information on the map is in the form of the level of need and the amount of tools and machinery that must be added.
