ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN HASIL KALIBRASI TERMOMETER DIGITAL PADA 5 LUBANG MEDIA DRY BLOCK FLUKE 9173

Termometer adalah alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur suhu. Ada beberapa macam termometer, salah satunya adalah termometer digital. Namun sejauh ini belum diketahui apabila besar kecilnya lubang masukan (insert) untuk mengkalibrasi termometer digital mempengaruhi hasil dari kalibrasi alat termometer atau tidak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil kalibrasi termometer digital pada 5 lubang media dry block dengan melihat nilai koreksi dan nilai ketidakpastian pengukuran. Pengujian dilakukan di Laboratorium Suhu, Direktorat Metrologi dengan menggunakan metode perbandingan langsung. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan standar, peralatan, dan perlengkapan uji yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan proses kalibrasi, tahap persiapan sebelum kalibrasi dan tahap pelaksanaan kalibrasi. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai koreksi pada kalibrasi termometer digital dengan menggunakan media dry block pada lubang 1 memiliki hasil rata-rata nilai koreksi yang terkecil dan mendekati 0ºC yaitu sebesar -0,19°C, sedangkan nilai koreksi terbesar ada pada lubang ke 4 dengan nilai koreksi rata-rata sebesar -0,25°C dan ketidakpastian pada semua lubang cenderung konstan stabil pada semua lubang disetiap kenaikan suhu karena dipengaruhi oleh hasil rata-rata data koreksi pada media dry block yang. Artinya, pengaruh besar kecilnya lubang pada dry block tidak terlalu berpengaruh pada kalibrasi termometer digital, karena nilai koreksi dan ketidakpastiannya tidak berbeda cukup jauh.

Thermometer is a device used to measure temperature. There are several kinds of thermometers, one of which is a digital thermometer. But so far it is not known when her little hole big input (insert) to calibrate the thermometer digital affects the results of the calibration of thermometer tool or not. This study aims to compare the results of the digital thermometer calibration on 5 hole media dry block by looking at the value of the correction and the value of the measurement uncertainty. Testing conducted in the laboratory of temperature, Directorate of Metrology by using methods of direct comparison. This research procedure consists of three stages, namely the preparatory stage of the standards, tools, and test equipment used to perform the calibration process, the preparation phase before the implementation stage of calibration. In this study the results obtained that the value of the correction on the digital thermometer calibration by using the media dry block on hole 1 has the average value results correction is the greatest and close to 0 ° C i.e. registration-0,19 ° C, whereas the value of correction the smallest there is on the 4th hole with average correction value of-0.25 ° C and uncertainty on all holes tend to a constant stable in all holes at each temperature increase because it is influenced by the average results data correction at medium dry block. That is to say, the influence of large hole in a small dry block not too influential in digital thermometer calibration, because the value of correction does not differ quite considerably.
