Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil evaluasi penyelenggaraan koperasi terhadap cooperative governance. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah Primer Koperasi Pegawai UPN Veteran Yogyakarta yang memiliki asset terbesar kedua pada Kabupaten Sleman berdasarkan data dari Dinas Koperasi Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah DIY. Alat analisis ini menggunakan pedoman tata kelola koperasi dari Guidelines for Good Practices of Financial Cooperative Governance dan prinsip-prinsip koperasi rumusan Bank Sentral Brazil (2008) untuk mengevaluasi penerapan koperasi dalam penyelenggaraannya. Analisis yang dilakukan adalah membandingkan informasi yang telah diperoleh dengan setiap aspek-aspek cooperative governance sehingga sesuai dengan nilai, prinsi, dan tujuan koperasi yang sebenarnya. Corporate governance sangat penting diterapkan sebagai pedoman tata kelola dalam mencapai tujuan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan tata kelola yang baik (governance) dengan menerapkan nilai, prinsip, dan aspek tata kelola koperasi berpengaruh positif terhadap cooperative governance. Meskipun demikian, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tata kelola koperasi pada Primer Koperasi Pegawai UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta belum optimal. Sebaiknya kepengurusan dalam koperasi segera memperbaiki untuk mencapai tujuan koperasi yang sebenarnya sesuai dengan nilai, prinsip, dan aspek cooperative governance.

This study aims to determine the results of the evaluation of cooperative implementation of cooperative governance. This research is a qualitative research with primary data and secondary data obtained through in-depth interviews. The sample in the study was Primary Employee Cooperative of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta which had the second largest asset in Sleman Regency based on data from the Office of Cooperative Micro Small and Medium Enterprises DIY. This analytical tool uses cooperative governance guidelines from the Guidelines for Good Practices of Financial Cooperative Governance and the principles of the cooperative formulation of the Brazilian Central Bank (2008) to evaluate the implementation of cooperatives in their implementation. The analysis carried out is comparing information that has been obtained with each aspect of cooperative governance so it is in accordance with the true values, principles and objectives of the cooperative. The results of this study are the application of good governance (governance) by applying the values, principles and aspects of cooperative governance that have a positive effect on cooperative governance. Nonetheless, the results of the study indicate that the implementation of cooperative governance in the Primary Employee Cooperative of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta is not optimal. It is recommended that the management in the cooperative immediately improve to achieve the actual objectives of the cooperative in accordance with the values, principles and aspects of cooperative governance.
