Pengaruh Penyajian Musik Nostalgia dan Non Nostalgia terhadap Afek

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penyajian musik nostalgia dan non nostalgia terhadap afek. Pada penelitian ini, subjek akan dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok yang mendapat perlakuan berbeda, yaitu: mendengarkan musik nostalgia, mendengarkan musik non nostalgia, dan tanpa mendengarkan musik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest-only multiple-independent-group. Subjek terdiri dari 72 mahasiswa S1 yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik non random sampel. Afek akan dipilah menjadi afek positif dan afek negatif kemudian diukur dengan menggunakan skala I-PANAS-SF. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan One Way ANOVA menunjukkan tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan untuk afek positif (F=0,05) maupun afek negatif (F=0,69) dengan p>0,05. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka hipotesis yang berbunyi ada pengaruh musik nostalgia dan non nostalgia terhadap afek ditolak.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nostalgic and non nostalgic music presentation on affects. In this study, subjects will be divided into three groups that were each given different treatments: listening to nostalgic music, listening to non nostalgic music, and without listening to music. This study used posttest-only multiple-independent-group design. Subjects consisted of 72 undergraduate students that were chosen by non random sampling technique. The affects will be sorted into positive affects and negative affects are then measured using the I-PANAS-SF scale. The result of the research using One Way ANOVA found that no significant effect for positive affects (F = 0,05) and negative affects (F = 0,69), p>0.05. Based on these results, the hypothesis that there is an effect of nostalgic and non nostalgic music on affect is rejected.
