POLA ASUH KO JI YONG MENDIDIK SANG ANAK DALAM REALITY SHOW THE RETURN OF SUPERMAN

Tugas Akhir ini berjudul Pola Asuh Ko Ji Yong Mendidik Sang Anak Dalam reality show The Return of Superman. Reality show The Return of Superman menceritakan tentang cara merawat dan mendidik anak yang dilakukan oleh seorang ayah tanpa bantuan istri. Dalam adegan di reality show tersebut, terdapat banyak pola asuh orang tua untuk meningkatkan 4 (empat) aspek perkembangan anak. Empat aspek perkembangan anak tersebut adalah aspek perkembangan kognitif, motorik, sosio-emosional, dan moral. Penulis menganalisis pola asuh Ko Ji Yong dalam mendidik anaknya untuk mengetahui perilaku anak yang dihasilkan dari pola asuh tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap. Tahap pertama pengumpulan data dengan mengamati secara langsung reality show The Return of Superman. Tahap kedua, menganalisis adegan pola asuh anak yang terdapat dalam setiap episode. Tahap ketiga yaitu penyajian data dengan melampirkan gambar dan dialog yang menunjukkan adegan pola asuh disertai penjelasan terkait 4 (empat) aspek perkembangan anak untuk menjawab rumusan masalah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pola asuh yang diterapkan oleh Ko Ji Yong dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak mulai dari perkembangan kognitif, motorik, sosio-emosional, dan moral. Pada setiap episode, memperlihatkan interaksi sang ayah dalam mendidik anaknya. Setiap adegan yang memperlihatkan pola asuh Ko Ji Yong terhadap sang anak menunjukkan bahwa sang anak dapat mempelajari hal-hal baru seperti mendapat kosakata baru, cara bersikap yang baik, dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar.

This graduating paper is entitled Ko Ji Yong parenting in educating their children shown on the reality show The Return of Superman. A reality show, called The Return of Superman tells about nursing and educating children by a father without the help of his wife. In the scene on the reality show, there are many parenting styles to improve four aspects of child development. The four aspects of child development are aspects of cognitive, motoric, socio-emotional, and moral development. The writer analyzed Ko Ji Yong's parenting style in educating their children to find out the children's behavior result from that parenting. This study uses a qualitative description of research method. This research method consists of three stages. The first stage of the data collection is a visual observation by watching the reality show, The Return of Superman. The second stage, analyzed the scene of child parenting in each episode. The third stage is the presentation of the data by attaching pictures and dialogues shown on the parenting scenes accompanied by explanation related to the four aspects of child development to answer the problem formulation. The results of this study is the parenting style applied by Ko Ji Yong can affect children's development ranging from cognitive, motoric, socio-emotional, and moral development. In each episode shows the interaction of the father in educating his child. Every scene of Ko Ji Yong's parenting towards the child shows that the children can learn new things such as getting new vocabulary, how to behave well, and interact with the surrounding environment.
