Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa harga saham dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor-faktor tersebut tidak selalu memberikan pengaruh yang sama untuk setiap perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku harga saham pada perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perkebunan, khususnya kelapa sawit. Faktor internal perusahaan diwakili oleh current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), dan return on equity (ROE) sementara faktor ekstenal diwakili oleh harga komoditas yaitu CPO/ton dunia. Metode yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan periode waktu 5 tahun (2012-2016). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh variabel yang diuji berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham perusahaan perkebunan.

Previous studies have shown that stock prices are influenced by various internal and external factors. Those factors do not always provide the same effect for every companies. This study was conducted with the aim to examine the impact of various factors on the stock price of palm plantation companies. The internal factors was represented by the financial ratios such as current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), and return on equity ratio (ROE); meanwhile the external factors was represented by CPO price. The method used was panel data regression with 5 years period (2012-2016). The result indicates that all the variable employed has significant impact on the stock prices of plantation companies.
