PEMBUATAN FILTER COOLANT PORTABLE UNTUK AREA PRODUKSI PLANT 1A PT INTI GANDA PERDANA

Coolant merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok dalam proses pemesinan terutama di industri manufaktur dan oleh sebab itu ketersediaan coolant baik secara kuantitas maupun kualitas harus terpenuhi agar tidak menghambat proses produksi. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh perusahaan terkait dengan coolant adalah tingginya biaya untuk konsumsi coolant, pendeknya waktu penggunaan cairan coolant, kurangnya efisiensi saat proses pengurasan coolant pada mesin dan bau yang menyengat dari coolant karena terkontaminasi oleh kotoran. Dari beberapa permasalahan tersebut maka dirancanglah alat filter coolant portable agar bisa menangani beberapa permasalahan yang dialami oleh perusahaan. Filter coolant ini dibuat agar bisa menjangkau semua mesin di masing masing blok pada plant 1A PT Inti Ganda Perdana dengan desain seperti pada troli agar mudah berpindah tempat. Komponen utama yang digunakan yaitu ecolo fiter matic sebagai media filtrasi coolant. Proses perancangan dimulai dari survey data kebutuhan alat seperti apa yang akan dibuat, desain, pemilihan komponen pada alat serta eksekusi pembuatan dan uji coba alat. Hasil dari alat filter coolant portable ini mampu menghemat biaya penggunaan coolant. Dua bulan percobaan pertama mampu menghemat sebesar 176 liter coolant yang jika di uangkan menjadi Rp.5.104.000,00- dengan harga cairan coolant tipe razor sebesar Rp.29.000,00- per liter. Proses sebelumnya harus menonaktifkan line produksi agar bisa melakukan proses pengurasan coolant, namun dengan alat ini proses pengurasan coolant mampu dilakukan tanpa menghentikan proses produksi karena coolant yang digunakan langsung bersikulasi.

Coolant is one of the basic needs in the machining process, especially in the manufacturing industry and therefore the availability of coolant both in quantity and quality must be fulfilled, so as not to impede the production process. The problem often faced by companies related to coolant is the high cost for consumption of coolant, the short time of liquid coolant usage, the lack of efficiency during the coolant drainage process on the engine and the stinging smell of the coolant because it is contaminated with dirt. Based some of these problems, a portable coolant filter tool is designed to be able to handle several problems experienced by the company. This coolant filter is made to be able to reach all the machines in area of plant 1A PT Inti Ganda Perdana with a design like in a trolley so that it is easy to move. The main components is ecolo fiter matic as coolant filtration media. The design process starts from the data survey tool needs like what will be mad., Design, the selection of components in the tool and the execution of the manufacture and testing of the tool. The results of the portable coolant filter tool is able to save on the use of coolant costs. From the first 2 months of trial, it was able to save 176 liters of coolant, which if it was made into Rp.5,104,000.00 - with the price of razor coolant type Rp.29,000.00- / liter, and also those who previously had to deactivate the production line in order to carry out the coolant dewatering process but with this tool the coolant dewatering process was able to be carried out without stopping the production process because the coolant used was directly circulating.
