Perhitungan Nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Haultruck (Studi Kasus di PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.)

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (PT Vale) merupakan anak perusahaan Vale, perusahaan pertambangan global yang berkantor pusat di Brasil. Sebelumnya PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk. (PT Inco), perusahaan ini mengoperasikan tambang nikel dan pabrik pengolahan di Sorowako, di pulau Sulawesi di Indonesia sejak tahun 1968. PT Vale memiliki Kontrak Karya (KK) pada 28 Juli 1968 status Gen-2 dan kontrak diperpanjang dan dimodifikasi pada 16 Juni 1996 dengan luas 118.435 ha. Target produksi ± 8 juta ton bijih nikel/tahun untuk umpan pabrik pengolahan yang menghasilkan ± 80.000 ton nikel matte/tahun. Dalam kondisi saat ini, dimana harga komoditas mineral logam menurun dalam beberapa tahun salah satunya nikel, maka PT Vale sebagai perusahaan pertambangan nikel perlu melakukan efesiensi yang tepat. Pemilihan sistem pengukuran kinerja yang tepat menjadi penting agar operasi produksi berjalan lancar. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) adalah sistem pengukuran kinerja yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan perhitungan suatu nilai, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan mengamati tiga faktor utama yaitu availability ratio, performance ratio dan quality ratio. OEE lebih efektif digunakan pada suatu peralatan produksi. Nilai OEE haultruck yang didapatkan akan menunjukan kinerja haultruck di PT Vale dan akan memberikan usulan tindakan perbaikan kinerja peralatan untuk dapat meningkatkan kinerja. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Haultruck CAT 777-D unit HT 2012, 2013, 2014, dan 2015 mendapatkan nilai OEE kurang dari 85%. Nilai OEE tertinggi HT 2014 terjadi di bulan Maret 2016 sebesar 74%, terutama dikarenakan kompetensi mekanik yang masih rendah dan berbeda-beda sehingga menyebabkan perbaikan dan perawatan unit haultruck yang berbeda.

PT Vale has a Contract of Work (KK) on July 28, 1968 Gen-2, extended and modified contract on June 16, 1996 with 118,435 ha area. The production target is ± 8 million tons of nickel ore/year for processing mill feed which produces ± 80,000 tons of nickel matte/year. In the current condition, where the price of metal mineral commodities has declined in a few years, one of them is nickel price, PT Vale as a nickel mining company needs to do the right efficiency. The selection of the right performance measurement system is important so that production operations run smoothly. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a performance measurement system used in this study using value calculation, then analyzed by observing three main factors, availability ratio, performance ratio and quality ratio. OEE is more effectively used in a production equipment. The OEE haultruck value will show haultruck performance at PT Vale and will propose actions to improve equipment performance to improve performance. The results of this study indicate that Haultruck CAT 777-D HT units 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 received an OEE value of less than 85%. The highest HT OEE value in 2014 occurred in March 2016 at 74%, mainly due to the low and different mechanical competencies which caused improvements and maintenance of different haultruck units.
