RESPON MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN PARIWISATA DI TAMAN TEBING BREKSI KECAMATAN PRAMBANAN KABUPATEN SLEMAN YOGYAKARTA

Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengkaji respon masyarakat di Desa Sambirejo terhadap pengembangan pariwisata. Respon dinilai dari tiga aspek yaitu persepsi, sikap dan partisipasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memahami dan merangkai data-data yang telah dikumpulkan secara sistematis. Tujuannya adalah untuk menemukan respon masyarakat terhadap pariwisata dan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pariwisata. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat dua macam respon yang muncul dalam masyarakat yaitu respon positf dan negatif. Respon positif muncul dari anggota masyarakat yang mau memanfaatkan peluang usaha di Tebing Breksi, terbentuknya institusi lokal dan adanya perubahan status yang dialami anggota pengelola Tebing Breksi. Sedangkan respon negatif muncul dari kelompok penambang yang terkena dampak langsung peraturan penghentian tambang. Para penambang menolak pengembangan dengan alasan pendapatan yang tidak pasti jika menjadi pelaku wisata.

The main focus of this research is to explain the community response of society in Sambirejo Village in developing tourism in Tebing Breksi. Response is assessed from 3 values namely: perception, attitude and participation. Data analysis is done by understanding and compiling data that has been collected systematically. The aim is to find the community's response to tourism and the level of community participation in tourism management. The result of this study are two types of responses namely positive and negative. Positive response arises from people who want to take advantage of business opportunities, the formation of local institutions and the change in status experienced by the management members of Tebing Breksi. While the negative response arise from the group of miners who were directly affected by mine stop regulation. The miners reject the developing of tourism that they did not get a stable income if they work in tourism industry.
