ANALISIS SISTEM INFORMASI DALAM DATABASE JURNAL ELEKTRONIK DI LINGKUNGAN PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA

Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah Mada mengeluarkan anggaran yang sangat besar untuk berlangganan database jurnal elektronik. Pada kenyataannya ditemukan bahwa pemanfaatan database jurnal elektronik masih sangat rendah. Oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini peneliti akan mengkaji permasalahan tersebut dengan menganalisis sistem informasi dalam database jurnal elektronik. Untuk membantu penelitian ini, peneliti mengadopsi teori yang dikembangkan oleh Delone dan McLean tentang kesuksesan suatu sistem informasi. Dengan teori ini peneliti akan melihat pengaruh antar variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Sehingga nantinya dapat menggambarkan penyebab rendahnya pemanfaatan database jurnal elektronik dari segi kesuksesan sistem informasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Terdapat 60 orang yang pernah menggunakan database jurnal elektronik menjadi responden penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menjelaskan ada atau tidaknya hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kualitas sistem tidak berpengaruh pada penggunaan database jurnal elektronik; (2) kualitas sistem berpengaruh pada kepuasan pengguna database jurnal elektronik; (3) kualitas informasi berpengaruh pada penggunaan dan kepuasan pengguna database jurnal elektronik; (4) kualitas layanan tidak berpengaruh pada penggunaan dan kepuasan pengguna database jurnal elektronik; (5) kepuasan pengguna database jurnal elektronik berpengaruh pada dampak individu; (6) penggunaan database jurnal elektronik berpengaruh pada dampak individu. Universitas Gadjah Mada Library issued a very large budget to subscribe to electronic journal databases. In reality, it was found that the utilization of electronic journal databases was still very low. Therefore in this study researchers will examine these problems by analyzing information systems in electronic journal databases. To help with this research, researchers adopted the theory developed by Delone and McLean about the success of an information system. With this theory, the researcher will see the influence between independent variables on the dependent variable. So that later it can describe the causes of the low utilization of electronic journal databases in terms of information system success. The type of research used is quantitative research with survey methods. Sampling using purposive sampling. There were 60 people who had used electronic journal databases to become research respondents. Data analysis uses Partial Least Square (PLS) approach to explain whether or not there is a relationship between variables. The results showed that: (1) the quality of the system had no effect on the use of electronic journal databases; (2) system quality affects the satisfaction of users of electronic journal databases; (3) the quality of information influences the use and satisfaction of users of electronic journal databases; (4) service quality does not affect the use and satisfaction of electronic journal database users; (5) satisfaction of users of electronic journal databases influences individual impacts; (6) the use of electronic journal databases affects individual impacts.
