PERAN KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DAN HARGADIRI TERHADAP KEPUASAN PERKAWINAN PADA IBU BEKERJA YANG MENJALANI COMMUTER MARRIAGE

Peningkatan perceraian terus terjadi dalam waktu lima tahun terakhir, kasus perceraian terjadi atas dasar pasangan tidak merasa puas akan perkawinannya. Saat ini banyak pula pasangan yang menjalani perkawinan jarak jauh atau commuter marriage, dalam menjalani hubungan perkawinannya komunikasi interpersonal dan harga diri memiliki peranan penting dalam kepuasan perkawinan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran komunikasi interpersonal dan harga diri terhadap kepuasan perkawinan pada Ibu bekerja yang menjalani commuter marriage. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei menggunakan kuisioner. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur kepuasan perkawinan adalah skala kepuasan perkawinan yang disusun oleh peneliti, alat ukur untuk mengukur komunikasi interpersonal adalah skala komunikasi interpersonal yang di adaptasi dari Yusnidar (2015) dan alat ukur untuk mengukur harga diri adalah skala SEI (self esteem inventory). Penelitian ini melibatkan 179 subjek. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal dan harga diri secara signifikan berperan terhadap kepuasan perkawinan hasil regresi F= 167,775 dengan nilai p<0,01. Namun, hasil ini tidak dapat digunakan karena kedua variabel independen mengandung multikolinearitas. Oleh karena itu, uji hipotesis diganti menggunakan regresi liniear sederhana menggunakan variabel komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan perkawinan. Dari model regresi liniear didapatkan nilai F hitung sebesar 277,259 dengan nilai p<0,01 yang artinya model signifikan berperan terhadap kepuasan perkawinan, dengan sumbangan efektif komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan perkawinan sebesar 61%.

The increase of divorce continues to occur in the last five years, divorce happen based on couple doesn't satisfied with their marriage. At this time many couples through long-distance marriage or commuter marriage, in marriage interpersonal communication and self esteem have an important role for marital satisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to determine the role of interpersonal communication and self esteem towards marital satisfaction in working mother through commuter marriage. This research method used questionnaire using survey method. The measuring instrument used to measure marital satisfaction is the marital satisfaction scale compiled by researcher, a measuring instrument for measuring interpersonal communication is the scale of interpersonal communication adapted from Yusnidar (2015) and a measuring scale for measuring self-esteem is the SEI scale (self esteem inventory) . This study involved 179 subjects. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that interpersonal communication and self-esteem significantly contributed to marital satisfaction regression results F = 167.775 with a value of p <0.01. However, this result cannot be used because both independent variables contain multicolinearity. Therefore, hypothesis testing is replaced using simple linear regression using interpersonal communication variables to marital satisfaction. From the linear regression model, the calculated F value is 277,259 with a value of p<0,01 which means that the significant model plays a role in marital satisfaction, with an effective contribution of interpersonal communication to marital satisfaction of 61%.
