EKSISTENSI FORUM KERUKUNAN UMAT BERAGAMA (FKUB) POSO DALAM PROSES BINA DAMAI

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang bagaimana eksistensi Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama (FKUB) Poso periode 2006-2011 dalam proses bina damai pasca konflik yang terjadi di Kabupaten Poso. Alasan pemilihan topik ini adalah karena beberapa hal; (1) Kabupaten Poso merupakan salah satu daerah yang mengalami konflik pasca reformasi tahun 1998. Dimana terjadinya konflik yang berlabelkan agama mengubah masyarakat Poso yang dahulunya damai dan hidup dalam kegotong-royongan tanpa mempersoalkan perbedaan menjadi saling membenci dan menyerang satu sama lain (secara khusus antara komunitas Islam dan Kristen). (2) FKUB sebagai wadah bina damai yang dibentuk masyarakat dan difasilitasi pemerintah memiliki peran penting dalam proses bina damai di Poso. (3). Periode 2006-2011 adalah awal mula berdirinya FKUB Poso dengan situasi Poso saat itu yang belum kondusif, Dalam proses analisa, penelitian ini menggunakan teori Religious Peacebulding (David Little), dengan melihat tiga peran FKUB Poso sebagai peacemaker dalam proses bina damai di Poso. Yang pertama; Peran Hermenutika Perdamaian, kedua; Peran Penengah, dan yang ketiga; Peran Peyelesaian Persoalan Politik, Ekonomi dan Sosial (Poleksos). Sedangkan metodologi yang digunakan penulis dalam tesis ini adalah metodologi kualitatif yang deskriftif analisis, dimana dengan pendekatan ini penulis mendapatkan gambaran mendalam dengan mengumpulkan dokumen-dokumen FKUB pada periode 2006-2011 dan mewawancarai para informan baik mewakili lembaga atau pribadi mereka yang ada dalam kepengurusan FKUB Poso pada periode tersebut sehingga penulis dapat menganalisa dan menemukan jawaban mengenai bagaimana eksistensi FKUB Poso (periode 2006-2011) dalam proses bina damai demi mewujudkan perdamaian antar umat beragama di Kabupaten Poso. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa FKUB Poso sebagai Peacemaker dalam konflik Poso belum berperan maksimal dalam upaya proses bina damai di Poso. Hal ini disebabkan karena adanya beberapa hambatan yang ditemui, yaitu; kurangnya pemahaman pengurus FKUB mengenai konsep Religious Peacebuilding, adanya dualisme organisasi (FKUB dan BKSAUB), terbatasnya dana, dan masih adanya gangguan keamanan dari kelompok-kelompok radikal di Poso.

This research explains about the existence of Forum of Religious Harmony (FKUB) Poso period 2006-2011 in post-conflict peace building process that happened in Poso District. The reason for choosing this topic is because of several things; (1) Poso District is one of the areas that experienced post-reform conflicts in 1998. Where the occurrence of religious-labeled conflicts transformed the formerly peaceful people of Poso and lived in mutual cooperation without questioning the differences to hate and attack each other (specifically between Islamic and Christian communities). (2) FKUB as a forum for community building and facilitated by the government has an important role in the peace process in Poso. (3). Period 2006-2011 is the beginning of the establishment of Poso FKUB with Poso situation when it is not conducive, In the analysis process, this study uses the Religious Peacebulding (David Little) theory, looking at the three roles of FKUB Poso as peacemaker in the peace building process in Poso. The first; The role of Hermeneutical Peace, the second; The Role of Intermediaries, and the third; Political, Economic and Social Issues (Poleksos). While the methodology used by the author in this thesis is a qualitative methodology that descriptive analysis, where with this approach the authors get an in-depth picture by collecting FKUB documents in the period 2006-2011 and interviewing the informants either represent the institution or their person in the FKUB Poso in that period so that the authors can analyze and find answers on how the existence of Poso FKUB (period 2006-2011) in the process of peace building in order to realize peace among religious communities in Poso District. The conclusion of this research is that FKUB Poso as Peacemaker in Poso conflict has not played a maximum role in the effort of peace process in Poso. This is due to several obstacles encountered, namely; lack of understanding of the FKUB board on the concept of Religious Peacebuilding, the existence of organizational dualism (FKUB and BKSAUB), limited funding, and the continued disruption of security from radical groups in Poso
